NFL Black Friday Same Game Parlay: Bears vs. Eagles
Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook
Leg 1: Saquon Barkley 60+ Rushing Yards (-310)
Unfortunately, Barkley hasn't been the superstar many expected from him this year, averaging only 62.2 rushing yards per game. Last week, the former Penn State star had only 22 rushing yards against the Dallas Cowboys, a season low. However, Barkley averaged 97.7 rushing yards per game over the previous three contests, totaling at least 60 in every outing. Meanwhile, the Bears have surrendered 108.2 rushing yards per game to running backs this year, allowing 66 or more in 81.8% of the contests, including at least 91 in three consecutive outings.
Leg 2: Rome Odunze 50+ Receiving Yards (-120)
Chicago's wide receiver corps has been inconsistent this season. However, Odunze has been the best of the unit, averaging a team-high 59.4 receiving yards per game, 15.3 more than the next closest Bear (DJ Moore with 44.1). Furthermore, he has had at least 53 receiving yards in 60% of the games since Week 1, including two of the past three contests. Meanwhile, the Eagles surrendered 146 receiving yards to George Pickens last week, including a 43-yard bomb. Expect Odunze to pull in at least one deep shot on Friday.
Leg 3: Luther Burden 40+ Receiving Yards (+140)
Burden has quietly earned a meaningful role in Chicago's passing attack. The rookie has averaged 3.3 targets per game since the bye week, totaling at least three in three consecutive contests. Furthermore, he has averaged 36.6 receiving yards per game over the past 10 weeks, recording 46 or more in half of the contests, hitting that mark in two of the past three outings, including last week. Meanwhile, Philadelphia surrendered at least 40 receiving yards to four Dallas Cowboys pass catchers, including 48 to KaVontae Turpin on only one reception.
Leg 4: Dallas Goedert 25+ Receiving Yards (-175)
The Eagles likely won't have DeVonta Smith for Friday's game as he is dealing with multiple injuries. Meanwhile, the Bears should have Jaylon Johnson back in the lineup after missing the past nine games, limiting A.J. Browns' upside. Therefore, Goedert could be Jalen Hurts' favorite target in this matchup. He has averaged 37.6 receiving yards per game this year, totaling 28 or more in 60% of the contests. Meanwhile, Chicago has surrendered 58.6 receiving yards per game to tight ends, allowing at least 36 in every contest since Week 1.
Leg 5: Philadelphia Eagles MoneyLine (-340)
While these two teams both have an 8-3 record, the Eagles are seven-point favorites on Friday. The spread is too high, forcing me to bet Philadelphia on the MoneyLine. Chicago has won four in a row and eight of the past nine games. However, they've needed a fourth-quarter comeback in four consecutive games, barely beating far inferior teams. Meanwhile, the Eagles lost last week to the Dallas Cowboys on a last-second field goal. Yet, they have several quality wins this season, including against the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions.
Parlay Odds: +1080
