NFL Conference Championship Touchdown Scorer Player Prop Bet Picks

After 18 weeks of regular season football and two weeks of playoff games, we are down to the final four teams. The NFC Championship Game is the first matchup of the day. The San Francisco 49ers head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. These two teams didn’t face off during the regular season, however, they feature two of the top defenses and run games in the NFL this year.

In the second game of the day, the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Kansas City Chiefs. These two teams faced off in the AFC Championship Game last year, with the Bengals winning 27-24 in overtime. More importantly, Cincinnati won the Week 13 matchup against Kansas City. The Bengals were down seven heading into the fourth quarter but outscored the Chiefs 10-0 in the final frame to win the game 27-24. Joe Burrow is 3-0 in his career against Patrick Mahomes. Can the former MVP get his first win against Burrow’s team?

Millions of dollars will get bet on these games, however, which touchdown prop bets should you bet? Let’s take a look.

Best NFL Conference Championship Touchdown Scorer Player Prop Bets

Let’s look at the best touchdown scorer player props for the Conference Championships.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles

49ers First TD Scorer: Christian McCaffrey (RB – SF) (+290)

When the 49ers traded for McCaffrey, the team had a 3-3 record. After losing their first game with the superstar running back, San Francisco won 10 straight contests to end the regular season. During their winning streak, McCaffrey has 10 scrimmage touchdowns, scoring at least once in all but two games. More importantly, the superstar running back has scored the first San Francisco touchdown in three straight contests, including both playoff matchups. Meanwhile, the first touchdown scored against the Eagles was a rushing score in 52.9% of their regular season matchups and last week’s playoff game against the New York Giants.

Eagles First TD Scorer: Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI) (+425)

Before he suffered a shoulder injury in Week 15, Hurts was the MVP favorite and arguably the best player in the NFL. The star quarterback had 13 rushing touchdowns during the regular season, the second-most in the league, despite missing two games with the aforementioned shoulder injury. Meanwhile, he scored a rushing touchdown in 60% of the games he played during the regular season. More importantly, Hurts had the first Philadelphia touchdown in 40% of the regular season games he played. Last week, the star quarterback had a rushing touchdown against the Giants. Furthermore, Hurts scored two or more rushing touchdowns in three games during the regular season, making his odds to score twice in this game at +800, a solid bet.

Anytime TD Scorer: A.J. Brown (WR – PHI) (+120)

Last week Brown was frustrated after having only three receptions for 22 receiving yards against the Giants. Therefore, expect the Eagles to feature the star receiver plenty in this game against the San Francisco secondary. The 49ers gave up 16 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers during the regular season, the seventh-most in the NFL. Meanwhile, Brown had 11 receiving touchdowns during the regular season, the third-most in the league and the second-most among wide receivers. Furthermore, the star receiver had five receiving touchdowns over the final six games of the regular season. In his only game against the 49ers in his career, Brown had 11 receptions for 145 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Bengals First TD Scorer: Ja’Marr Chase (WR – CIN) (+360)

The second-year receiver had an excellent 2022 season. Chase has scored a touchdown in five of the past seven contests since returning from the injury. More importantly, the superstar receiver scored the first Cincinnati touchdown in both playoff games this year. Meanwhile, the Chiefs gave up 20 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers during the regular season, the second-most in the NFL. Furthermore, half of those touchdowns were the first score of the game for Kansas City’s opponents. Last week, Christian Kirk scored the first touchdown for the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Chiefs. Chase has four touchdowns in three career games against Kansas City, including the playoff matchup last year.

Chiefs First TD Scorer: Travis Kelce (TE – KC) (+340)

With Tyreek Hill in Miami, Kelce became the focal point of Kansas City’s offense this year. The superstar tight end had 12 receiving touchdowns in 2022, a career-high. Furthermore, he ended the year with the second-most receiving touchdowns in the NFL. More importantly, Kelce scored the first Kansas City touchdown in 35.3% of the games during the regular season. Furthermore, he scored twice last week against the Jaguars, including the first score of the game. In the playoff matchup a year ago, the superstar tight end had 10 receptions for 95 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Anytime TD Scorer: Joe Burrow (QB – CIN) (+320)

There are plenty of solid anytime touchdown prop bets for this game. However, an excellent value is Burrow at +320. The superstar was fifth among quarterbacks in rushing touchdowns this season with five, a career-high. Furthermore, he has averaged seven rushing attempts per game in the three contests against Kansas City. More importantly, Burrow scored the first touchdown of the game in the Week 13 matchup against the Chiefs. Meanwhile, Kansas City gave up four rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks during the regular season, the sixth-most in the NFL.
