The Favorites

Kansas City Chiefs (+650)
Obligatory mention as they’re the defending champs and deploy Patrick Mahomes as their quarterback – you may have heard of him.

Baltimore Ravens (+700)
The Ravens will look to avenge their early exit in last year’s playoffs and tear through the easiest ranked schedule based on the final standings from 2019. The addition of rookie J.K. Dobbins will strengthen an already dominant run game, while reigning NFL MVP, Lamar Jackson, looks to guide this team to a championship.

Best Values

New Orleans Saints (+1200)
In what could be future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Drew Brees’ last NFL season, the Saints are a team built to win right now. The offense is one of the best in the NFC lead by the aforementioned Brees, reigning NFL Offensive MVP Michael Thomas, and standout running back Alvin Kamara.

This past offseason they filled a glaring need by adding No. 2 receiver Emmanuel Sanders while also reuniting with safety Malcolm Jenkins to strengthen their secondary. While Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs are currently garnering all the attention in the NFC South – don’t sleep on the Saints.

Buffalo Bills (+2700)
The Sean McDermott era in Buffalo has gotten off to a great start with two playoff appearances within his first three years at the helm. Apart from their raucous pregame antics, Bills supporters have long felt like the trio of downtrodden fans in the film Major League.

The defense, led by Tremaine Edmunds, ranked third in the NFL last season and is even deeper after defensive end, A.J. Epenesa, fell to the team late in the second round. The biggest offseason addition was wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who was acquired from the Minnesota Vikings via trade. Diggs was the final piece needed to round out an offense with sky-high potential – led by third-year quarterback, Josh Allen. As it currently stands, Allen is about as accurate throwing the football as pitcher Ricky ‘Wild Thing’ Vaughn was in Major League; but if he takes the next step developmentally, this team can make some noise.

Best Longshot

Denver Broncos (+6000)
After going an impressive 4-1 in his five-game rookie season – while also showing off his hype-man skills, MC Drew Lock will look again to put on for his city as he enters his second year in the NFL.

The Broncos had a great offseason and retooled their roster by trading for defenders Jurrell Casey and A.J. Bouye; while strengthening their offensive line with the signing of center Graham Glasgow. They also traded for Pro Bowl running back Melvin Gordon to form a lethal backfield and 1-2 punch with Phillip Lindsay. To further aid Lock in his development, they added top wide receiver prospects Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler in the draft.

With this reloaded offense and Von Miller still anchoring the defense, the Broncos look poised for a Wild Card spot. From there – anything can happen.
