NFL Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Bears vs. Seahawks
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Chicago Bears at Seattle Seahawks
- Leg 1: Colston Loveland Under 41.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
- Leg 2: D'Andre Swift Under 59.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
- Leg 3: Jaxon Smith-Njigba 100+ Receiving Yards (-106)
Colston Loveland is coming off two straight productive games, with 60+ yards and a touchdown in back-to-back weeks. Despite his improved play, we can fade him against Seattle tonight. The Seahawks allow a league-low 34.4 receiving yards per game to tight ends. They've defended the position well all year, and Loveland will be the latest victim.
Before these last two games, Loveland was averaging just 22 receiving yards per game over the first five weeks. In this matchup, we should expect the Bears' tight end to regress. He's been under 40 yards in four of seven games this season. Seattle will likely game plan against him, especially since he's done so much damage lately.
Sometimes a matchup and a player's underwhelming stats link up perfectly. That's the case this week with D'Andre Swift against the Seahawks' stalwart run defense. Swift has been mostly in check after he exploded for 124 yards in Week 1. Since then, Chicago's lead back is averaging 58.7 rushing yards per game over the last six weeks. He's also been under 60 yards in four of the last six games.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks are elite at stopping the run. They allow the second-fewest yards per carry (3.5) and third-fewest rushing yards per game to opposing RBs (71). Seattle has also allowed 60+ yards to only one running back this year. It's hard to see Swift having much success in this matchup, even with Kyle Monangai out.
Finally, let's round out this parlay with the surest of things in the NFL right now. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been unguardable all season. Seattle's star wideout averages 123.9 receiving yards per game and has 100+ yards in six out of seven games. He's also seeing 11.1 targets per game as Seattle's main option in the passing attack.
Chicago is middle-of-the-pack against the pass this year. The Bears allow the 13th-most receiving yards per game, and the 16th-most yards per contest to wide receivers. Honestly, though, Smith-Njigba is matchup-proof. He also has a penchant for showing up in primetime. Smith-Njigba had 150 yards on Sunday Night Football last week, 134 yards on Thursday Night Football two weeks ago and 122 yards in the Wednesday night season opener.
