NFL Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Cowboys vs. Eagles
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles
- Leg 1: Makai Lemon 40+ Receiving Yards (+100)
- Leg 2: CeeDee Lamb 70+ Receiving Yards (-170)
- Leg 3: Javonte Williams 60+ Rushing Yards (-141)
Philadelphia's injury woes continue. The Eagles will be without DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks at wide receiver this week. Jalen Hurts remains out, of course, but we're focusing on that receiving corps for our parlay. The absences will open up targets for Makai Lemon to play a bigger role in the offense.
Lemon admittedly hasn't been very productive this season, with just 127 receiving yards over six games. However, the rookie should be more involved tonight with Smith and Wicks sidelined. When Smith was out two weeks ago, Lemon had five receptions for 43 yards while logging 81% of the snaps. That was with Wicks active as well.
It's encouraging to see Lemon get 6+ targets in three straight games now. He'll face a Dallas defense that's allowing the ninth-most receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers. The Cowboys have especially struggled against slot receivers, which is where Lemon regularly lines up. He's the Eagles' top candidate to exploit that weakness.
On the Cowboys' side, bank on a big game from CeeDee Lamb. The Eagles are allowing the fourth-most receiving yards and targets per game to wideouts this year. Meanwhile, Lamb is being targeted heavily lately. He saw 18 targets last week and 21 three games ago. He's also averaging 106.6 yards over the past five games, with 70+ in four of those.
Plus, Lamb has regularly shown up in this rivalry matchup. He's averaged 93.7 receiving yards in his last seven games against Philadelphia, with 70+ yards in five of them. That includes 110 and 75 yards in last year's two meetings. The Eagles have allowed 80+ yards to five different opposing WRs over the past four games. Lamb should be next in line.
Let's round things out with Javonte Williams. The Cowboys' running back hasn't been all that productive this year, averaging 52.8 rushing yards per game and 3.7 yards per carry. However, this pick is all about the matchup and potentially favorable game script.
The Eagles have allowed 60+ rushing yards to a running back in every game this season. They're also giving up the most rushing attempts per game to opposing backs, and the ninth-most rushing yards per game to RBs. Plus, Dallas is favored on the road, which could lead to plenty of carries for Williams with the Cowboys leading in the second half.
