Monday's Best NFL Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
- Leg 1: Under 43.5 Points (-112)
- Leg 2: Brock Purdy Over 0.5 Interceptions (+100)
- Leg 3: Breece Hall Over 25.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
The Jets hope that the second year of Aaron Rodgers will go much better and longer than last season. They have a ton of talent that could make this a contending team, especially in Garett Wilson and Breece Hall. The defense was their anchor last season and is still projected to be among the best, especially a secondary featuring Sauce Gardner.
For the second time in three seasons, the 49ers went all the way to the big game just to come up short. The most important pieces on offense remain. They have some of the best talent, including Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle.
It might be time to put some respect on Brock Purdy’s name. He finished third in touchdown passes (31) and fifth in passing yards (4,280). All of that allowed him to lead the league in touchdown percentage (7.0%).
This game has the potential to finish up Week 1 with excitement. Expect San Francisco to lean on the run game. Especially if Haason Reddick doesn't play, New York could lose the battle at the line. They are going to grind it out through the run, and both defensive lines can keep this a low-scoring game.
The turnovers are one part of Purdy's game that he needs to improve. His 11 interceptions were the sixth-most in the league. The Jets like to apply pressure, as they were fourth in pressure percentage. You get Purdy to throw under pressure, and he could turn over the ball.
The 49ers are as good of a defense as any team in the league. However, there is a weakness in their game that the Jets can exploit. Last season, they allowed the fifth-most catches and eighth-most receiving yards to running backs. Hall is one of the top running backs in the passing games. He led all backs with 591 receiving yards. He should smash this number this season.
