As we head into the final month of the regular season, the contenders and pretenders will start becoming readily apparent. New York Jets at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 PM, CBS
Out of the ashes has risen a Jets team that has surprisingly ripped off three wins in a row. Meanwhile, the Bengals are still searching for their first win of 2019. There are no signs that it will be coming anytime soon. New York runs the streak to four and covers.

The Pick: New York Jets -3 (-105)

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts, 1 PM, CBS
The AFC South race is tightening up, and this one could be a downright slugfest. The Colts had the Titans’ number earlier this year, but fortunes have changed since then. Tennessee is hot, while Indianapolis is struggling. Visitors keep it close and could steal one.

The Pick: Tennessee Titans +2.5 (-105)

Philadelphia Eagles at Miami Dolphins, 1 PM, FOX
The Eagles are dealing with a rash of injuries and are failing to achieve liftoff on offense as a result. They may find more success against a poor Dolphins team, but it’s tough to see Carson Wentz and company blowing the doors off of anyone at this point. Miami gets the cover.

The Pick: Miami Dolphins +10 (-105)

Green Bay Packers at New York Giants, 1 PM, FOX
After being taken out to the woodshed by the 49ers, the Packers hit the road again to take on the Giants. The hosts have lost seven in a row and are in the unenviable spot of facing a top squad that needs to make a statement. Green Bay wins and covers.

The Pick: Green Bay Packers -6.5 (-105)

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers, 1 PM, CBS
The Browns have found a spark as the stretch run begins, and a playoff berth suddenly isn’t looking like a complete longshot. The Steelers are in the mix as well, and they are undoubtedly still smarting from the loss to Cleveland a few weeks back. They settle the score at home.

The Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5 (-105)

Washington Redskins at Carolina Panthers, 1 PM, CBS
The Redskins snapped a lengthy losing streak last week, but this remains a poor team that’s going nowhere. The Panthers are in the midst of what’s turning into an annual second-half collapse. They should right the ship on Sunday, but Washington keeps it respectable.

The Pick: Washington Redskins +10 (-105)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 PM, FOX
The Buccaneers may just be 4-7, but the team has shown some encouraging signs this season. There’s nothing optimistic to report about a Jaguars team that has lost three straight games to division rivals by double digits. Tampa Bay gets the win.

The Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -1 (-105)

San Francisco 49ers at Baltimore Ravens, 1 PM, FOX
This may very well be a Super Bowl preview. The 49ers and Ravens both enter off of impressive wins and are looking like the real deal. The odds are up there, but it’s tough to see a 6-point difference between two very strong squads. San Francisco covers and could steal one to boot.

The Pick: San Francisco 49ers +6 (-105)

Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 PM, FOX
The Rams were on the receiving end of a beatdown at the hands of the Ravens last week. They get to dust themselves off and head to Arizona to face a competitive Cardinals team. This one won’t be a blowout, but Los Angeles is looking to answer some questions.

The Pick: Los Angeles Rams -3 (-105)

Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos, 4:25 PM, CBS
The two also-rans of the AFC West square off in a late afternoon showdown. The Chargers have been one of the more disappointing squads of 2019, while the Broncos are having a trying year under Vic Fangio. It’s a toss-up, but the hosts find a way to get it done at home.

The Pick: Denver Broncos +3 (-105)

Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs, 4:25 PM, CBS
The Raiders were shellacked last week by the Jets, while the Chiefs had a week to rest up. This line has climbed to double digits, but it has the unmistakable scent of an overreaction. Kansas City gets the win at home, but Oakland comes in with a much better effort this week.

The Pick: Oakland Raiders +10 (-105)
