Jacksonville Jaguars at Atlanta Falcons, 1 PM, FOX
The Jaguars snapped a five-game skid with a road win over the Raiders. All is not well in Jacksonville, as the team has parted ways with executive vice president Tom Coughlin. Meanwhile, the Falcons have been a different team over the second half of the year. Theyâre working towards closing out the year strong, and they will continue to do so with a big home win on Sunday.
The Pick: Atlanta Falcons -7.5 (-105)
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns, 1 PM, CBS
The Ravens have had some extra time off since rolling over the Jets on Thursday Night Football. They head to Cleveland to take on a Browns team that is looking to bounce back from being hammered by the Cardinals in Arizona. A rested Baltimore squad will have little trouble with a Browns team that remains in disarray.
The Pick: Baltimore Ravens -10 (-105)
New Orleans Saints at Tennessee Titans, 1 PM, FOX
On Monday night, the Saints smashed the visiting Colts to remain in the mix for a first-round bye in the NFC Playoffs. They head to Tennessee for a tricky spot versus a Titans team that is still alive in the AFC hunt. The hosts will need some help to secure a berth, but weâll look for them to bolster their case with a home win.
The Pick: Tennessee Titans +2.5 (-105)
Carolina Panthers at Indianapolis Colts, 1 PM, FOX
The season has really gone south for a Panthers team that has lost six straight. However, they looked better in giving the Seahawks a tough time last week. The Colts have also hit the skids and dropped four in a row. Theyâre not looking like a team that can cover a touchdown spread, regardless of the venue. Indianapolis wins, but Carolina covers.
The Pick: Carolina Panthers +7 (-105)
Cincinnati Bengals at Miami Dolphins, 1 PM, CBS
Two of the AFCâs cellar-dwellers face off in this early afternoon affair. It has been a disaster of a season in Cincinnati, and there are plenty of places to point fingers. Things havenât gone swimmingly down in Miami either, but the team has shown a lot more fight than anticipated. Theyâll do that once again on the home field to get the win.
The Pick: Cincinnati Bengals +1 (-105)
Pittsburgh Steelers at New York Jets, 1 PM, CBS
The Steelers are pushing for the final playoff spot in the AFC, but they took a step back with last weekâs home loss to the Bills. The Jets have had a few extra days to get ready. The last time we saw them, they were getting pasted by the Ravens. New York makes it a little interesting, but a Pittsburgh team with more to fight for exits with the win and cover.
The Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers -3 (-105)
New York Giants at Washington Redskins, 1 PM, FOX
The two also-rans of the NFC East will meet up outside the nationâs capital. Eli Manning got a nice sendoff as the Giants finally won a game last week, while the Redskins were busy giving the Eagles all they could handle before collapsing in the end. Washington has been playing better than their record indicates recently, and thatâll continue on Sunday.
The Pick: Washington Redskins -2.5 (-105)
Detroit Lions at Denver Broncos, 4:05 PM, CBS
The Lions have dropped seven games in a row to stand at 3-10-1, but team ownership has gone public and announced that head coach Matt Patricia will be back for another go-round. The first year of Vic Fangioâs tenure in Denver hasnât gone great, but the club has had some moments. They have enough to get the job done at home over a poor Detroit team.
The Pick: Denver Broncos -7 (-105)
Oakland Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:05 PM, CBS
It wasnât too long ago that the Raiders were looking like potential playoff contenders. Since then, the team has seemingly gone out of its way to prove that it was just a mirage. Meanwhile, the Chargersâ season has been derailed by inconsistency. Thereâs nothing to suggest that either team can be trusted in this spot, so Raiders plus the points is the safer gambit.
The Pick: Oakland Raiders +6.5 (-105)
Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles, 4:25 PM, FOX
The marquee matchup of the day will decide the NFC East. As demonstrated in last weekâs demolition of the Rams, a Cowboys team thatâs clicking on all cylinders can be quite dangerous. The Eagles are keeping hope alive, but injuries and inconsistency donât add up to a team thatâs poised for a postseason run. Dallas keeps the momentum going with a win and cover.
The Pick: Dallas Cowboys -1.5 (-105)
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks, 4:25 PM, FOX
On paper, the Seahawks should clobber the Cardinals. Itâs certainly possible, but Arizona enters off of its best performance of the season in a home win over the Browns that wasnât as close as the final score suggested. Seattle has shown vulnerability at home this season, as evidenced by two of its three defeats coming at CenturyLink Field. The Cardinals are a solid 8-5-1 ATS this season, and weâll look for them to keep this one a little closer than anticipated.
The Pick: Arizona Cardinals +9.5 (-105)
