NFL Playoffs: Best Player Prop Bets in the AFC (2022)

As legalized betting has swept across the country, sportsbooks have been more pressured than ever to get their props out before their competitors. While the limits are lower at first, this leaves plenty of value for those who can dig deep enough.

After examining this week’s AFC matchups, I’ve identified three props to target. Let’s take a look.

Joe Burrow Over 286.5 Passing and Rushing Yards | -115 at DK Sportsbook

Over the course of the regular season, Burrow has usually gotten to this number in passing yardage alone, finishing the season with 295.6 passing yards per game. In his two final games of the regular season, he nearly doubled this number by racking up 971 yards against the Chiefs and Ravens.

He now draws a Titans team that surrendered an average of 245.2 yards through the air this season. They did so while largely playing against quarterbacks with a fraction of Burrow’s talent. I expect the Burrow-to-Chase connection to be alive and well in this one, and Burrow should easily cash this prop.

Ryan Tannehill Over 15.5 Rushing Yards | +175 at DK Sportsbook

With Derrick Henry back in the lineup, the Bengals’ fifth-ranked rushing defense will certainly be put to the test here. Their front seven will certainly have their work cut out for them. For me, this points to more passing and more opportunities for Tannehill to use his sneaky speed to escape from the Bengals’ pass rushers.

Tannehill averaged 15.9 rushing yards per game this season. I expect him to easily eclipse this number in a game he’ll need to do a lot more than complete passes in if the Titans want to cool off the red-hot Bengals.

Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown | -110 at DK Sportsbook

We’re heading to Kansas City for this one, and we’ll key in on the best tight end in the AFC. Last week, Kelce was targeted more than any other Kansas City receiver as the team routed the Steelers. He racked up 108 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.

To finish the regular season, Kelce trailed only Tyreek Hill in receiving yards for Kansas City. However, he tied him in touchdowns, and he actually led in average yards per catch. Look for another big game here against a stout Buffalo secondary that won’t allow Kansas City’s perimeter receivers to do much.
