NFL Playoffs: Best Player Prop Bets in the AFC Championship Game (2022)

The AFC will get us underway this Sunday, with the Chiefs hosting the Bengals in a game I expect to turn into a shootout. For the Chiefs, a win Sunday would mark their third Super Bowl appearance and four years, with the word dynasty certainly becoming a fit.

Let’s take a look at a few instances that I expect to play out.

Most Receiving Yards: Ja’Marr Chase | +400 at DK Sportsbook

This one spans both conferences, but I can’t pass up what I think is a grossly mispriced prop. My overall thesis for this game is that the 34-31 win for the Bengals earlier this month is being mispriced, and Chase was a major catalyst of that win.

Putting up monster numbers all season, 23% of his total yards came against this Chiefs secondary as he racked up 266 yards on the way to three touchdowns. This is also a Chiefs secondary that gave up 201 yards to Gabriel Davis just last week.

Anytime TD Scorer: Tyreek Hill | -125 at DK Sportsbook

With another 150 yards one-touchdown performance last week from Hill, he further stamped his legacy as one of the most dangerous playoff weapons in NFL history. That marked his second straight game with a TD, and I see no reason for that to stop here.

It also marked the second straight game in which the Chiefs put up 42 points, as they continue to have to rely on Hill and Travis Kelce downfield with little run game to speak of. I also like the added out of Hill returning punts, and it wouldn’t shock me if he breaks one-off here.
