Pittsburgh Steelers First TD Scorer: Pat Freiermuth (+550)
Last week, Pat Freiermuth found the end zone in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Furthermore, the veteran tight end saw a season-high 11 targets after having his previous season-high eight targets in Week 17 against the Kansas City Chiefs. His 19 targets over the past two weeks are six more than the next closest Steeler. While Freiermuth didn't score in either regular season matchup against the Ravens, expect that to change on Saturday night.
After struggling to start the year, the Ravens' pass defense has played better lately. However, they have recently struggled with keeping tight ends out of the end zone. Baltimore surrendered only five receiving touchdowns to tight ends during the regular season. Yet, four of those scores were the first of the game for Ravens opponents. More importantly, three of those touchdowns have come over their past five matchups, including Jordan Akins last week.
Baltimore Ravens First TD Scorer: Mark Andrews (+440)
Many called Mark Andrews washed after the star tight end had 10 receptions on 14 targets and zero receiving touchdowns over the first five weeks. However, the veteran has been a scoring machine since the slow start. He finished fourth in the NFL and first among tight ends with 11 receiving touchdowns during the regular season. Andrews found the end zone in 10 of the past 12 games, including six consecutive contests.
More importantly, he scored in the Week 16 matchup against Pittsburgh. Andrews has had the Ravens' first offensive touchdown in 23.5% of the games, including three of the past five contests. Last week, the veteran had the team's first offensive score in the win over the Cleveland Browns. Meanwhile, the first touchdown scored against the Steelers was a receiving one in five consecutive games, including one from Isaiah Likely in the Week 16 matchup.
