NFL Preseason Picks & Predictions: Seahawks vs. Titans (Sunday)

Week 2 of the NFL preseason wraps up on Sunday with only one game, as the Seattle Seahawks face the Tennessee Titans. While the matchup is far from exciting, there is still money to be made. Therefore, let's look at my two favorite NFL preseason picks for Sunday night's matchup between the Seahawks and Titans.

Sunday’s Best NFL Preseason Picks: Seahawks at Titans

Titans Moneyline (-186 at Kalshi)

Last week, the Titans’ offense looked awful. Cam Ward struggled against the San Francisco 49ers' second-team defense, completing only five of his 12 pass attempts for 57 yards.

However, the former Miami star did lead Tennessee on their only drive that resulted in a touchdown in Week 1. More importantly, head coach Robert Saleh confirmed that Ward and the starters would play roughly 20-30 snaps against the Seahawks.

Meanwhile, Seattle is expected to rest their starters for the second consecutive week. Therefore, the Titans should have no trouble winning this game, even if their starting offense struggles again.

Last week, Tennessee's backups scored 12 points against San Francisco. By comparison, the Seahawks had only seven points against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 and failed to score after their first drive.

Under 38.5 Points (-115 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

Hopefully, fans and bettors have something better to do on Sunday night than watch this game, as it should be fairly low-scoring. Last week, the Titans' starters scored seven points on their three drives, as they struggled against backup defenders. While Tennessee's reserves scored 12 points, kicking a field goal on four of their seven drives, their defense played well, surrendering only 13 points.

Furthermore, both the Titans and the Seahawks played in low-scoring games in Week 1. Tennessee's matchup ended with 32 points scored. By comparison, Seattle lost 17-7 in Week 1, failing to score after the opening drive.

While the Titans will play their starters for a few series, last week's performance was uninspiring. Meanwhile, the Seahawks won't play their starters for the second consecutive game. I would bet the under down to 34 points.
