NFL Prop Bets: Divisional Round Playoffs

The NFL Playoffs are rolling along as the divisional round is here. Some teams that are playing this weekend are a bit of a surprise while others are were expected to be here. Another batch of playoff games provides another group of NFL prop bets to target. DraftKings Sportsbook has four bets that stood out above the rest for me this week. Who should we target?

Mark Andrews – Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-130)

Mark Andrews is in an absolute smash spot this week against the Tennessee Titans. Andrews has been one of Lamar Jackson’s favorite weapons in the passing game all season long. He has been targeted six or more times in all but three games this season. Andrews also went over 50 yards in eight of the 15 games he played. He should have a great chance to again top six targets and 50 yards this week against the Titans. Tennessee has struggled against the tight end all season long including allowing 50 or more receiving yards in four straight games to end the regular season and five of their last six. I’m happy to take the over on 47.5 yards with Andrews this week even with the heavy juice.

Emmanuel Sanders – Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

I love me some Emmanuel Sanders this week. He will be featured prominently on my betting card and in my DFS lineups. While the yardage totals for Sanders have been pretty boom or bust with the 49ers, his volume has remained steady. He has received four or more targets in all but one game since being traded.

This week he faces a Vikings secondary that has been torched all season long. Don’t let the Saints struggles from a week ago make you forget about the issues they had in the backend throughout the season. Look for a big Sanders game this week and for him to fly over the 47.5 receiving yard total this week!

Patrick Mahomes – Over 299.5 Passing Yards (-112)

Banking on a quarterback to throw for 300 plus passing yards in a playoff game is not something I love to do but in this case, I’m all over it. First, we are talking about Patrick Mahomes who leads an offense with game-breaking skill position players. He also seems to be as close to full strength as possible at this point in the season. Mahomes also has playoff experience from last year that should make him more comfortable in this spot.

This week, the Chiefs will welcome a Houston Texans defense that has issues in the secondary even with the upgrades they made. Houston allowed 300 or more passing yards in three of their last five contests to end the season. This is also a defense that has struggled all season long allowing a 300 yards passing performance in half of their regular-season contests.

While the Chiefs are 9.5 point favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook this week, the game featured an over/under currently set at 51. This is the only game north of 50 and many expect points to be scored in bunches. This should force the Chiefs to keep their foot on the accelerator only adding fuel to the Mahomes fire. Take the over on his passing yards this week and enjoy the fireworks.

Aaron Jones – Over 24.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

Aaron Jones is in a prime position this week to flourish especially in the passing game. The Seattle Seahawks have been torched by running backs in the passing game all season long. They have given up 23 or more receiving yards in six of the Seahawk’s last seven games.

Jones has been a useful part of the passing game for the majority of the season. He has gone over 33 receiving yards in 7 of the Packers games this season. Look for him to have another big receiving game in this spot and go over the total!

Good luck in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs!
