(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

The Bills enter this contest on a six-game win streak. They're undefeated at home this season. As for the 49ers, it feels like their season is hanging on by a thread. Much of that is due to injuries to their top receivers, QB Brock Purdy, LT Trent Williams and more. This has led to the 49ers losing three out of their last five games. They entered this matchup on back-to-back losses.

Injuries aside, the weather will be a key factor in this game. Buffalo is expected to see close to three feet of snow before kickoff tonight. In addition to that, it's expected to snow during most of the game and there will be wind gusts of 20 miles per hour (MPH) in this game. This leads me to like the home team in this game.

When looking at the Bills’ offense, they've gotten much better at running the football this season than they have in years past. The Bills are averaging 119.2 rushing yards per game. Leading the way is Bills RB James Cook, who is averaging 59.6 rushing yards per game. In addition to that, he's scored 11 total touchdowns (10 rushing) this season.

Most years, the 49ers’ defense is one of the top rushing defenses in football but that's changed some this year. They're allowing 110.8 rushing yards per game and the 16 rushing touchdowns they've allowed this season are tied for third-most in the NFL. Over the 49ers’ last six games, they've allowed a rushing touchdown in each to a running back. Add in the fact the Packers torched the 49ers on the ground for 169 yards and three touchdowns last week.

For the Bills, the recipe for success is running the football. James Cook has scored in every game for the Bills but three of them this season. I'll trust the Bills to stay hot and ride the hot hand between their rushing attack that consists of Cook and Josh Allen.
