NFL Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Chargers vs. Bengals (Week 11)

The Bengals will attempt to rebound from last week’s heartbreaking loss against the Ravens. They’re slight underdogs against the Chargers. Los Angeles has bounced between a run-heavy and pass-heavy offense, making them challenging to pin down. However, Cincinnati’s offensive tendencies are straightforward. Thus, the Bengals are featured in all four legs of the following four-leg parlay, with one negatively correlated leg to enhance the odds drastically.

Sunday Night Football’s Best Same Game Parlay Bets: Chargers vs. Bengals

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Cincinnati Bengals @ Los Angeles Chargers

The Bengals have a pass-first offense. They put a ton on Joe Burrow’s shoulders, and he slings it early and often. According to RotoViz’s pace app, the Bengals have had the highest situation-neutral pass rate (63%) this season. They’re not slowing down, either.

Instead, Cincinnati is leaning into it more. Since Week 7, they’ve had an NFL-high 70% situation-neutral pass rate. There’s no reason to believe they’ll change their approach on Sunday night. First, the Chargers have faced a 56% situation-neutral pass rate this year since Week 7. Second, Tee Higgins will return from a three-week absence, giving Burrow another weapon to chuck the pigskin.

Burrow has surpassed 36.5 pass attempts in three straight games and four out of six. He’s also reached at least 225 passing yards in three consecutive games and seven of his last nine. Per Pro-Football-Reference, Burrow has averaged 267.2 passing yards per game. The Chargers aren’t a cupcake matchup. Nevertheless, Burrow can spin it. FantasyPros projects Burrow for 36.7 pass attempts and 265.4 passing yards against Los Angeles.

Mike Gesicki is playing well in his first season with the Bengals. He’s a valuable ancillary piece for Burrow. However, Gesicki has massive in-and-out splits with Higgins. Gesicki has stepped up without Higgins and has been essentially non-existent with Cincinnati’s No. 2 wide receiver. Gesicki has produced 47, -9, 31, 0 and 2 receiving yards in five games with Higgins.

I’m usually reluctant to use negatively correlated legs in a same-game parlay. Still, Gesicki’s disappearing act with Higgins is worth including in this one because Burrow has ample weapons to clear the low bar of 225 passing yards without contributions from Gesicki.

Ja’ Marr Chase and Higgins are Cincinnati’s target hogs, but Chase Brown can chip in toward Burrow’s passing prop while clearing the low bar of 25 receiving yards. According to the data suite at Fantasy Points, Brown had a 64.4% route participation rate, 15.8% target share, 0.23 targets per route run, 14 receptions (7.0 per game), 89 receiving yards (44.5 per game) and 1.37 yards per route run in the previous two weeks.

He thrived without Zack Moss, tallying 37 and 52 receiving yards in those contests. Brown could cede some opportunities to the returning Higgins. Still, he’s given Burrow an outlet option and should receive a handful of targets and receptions on Sunday night. FantasyPros projects him for 26.3 receiving yards against the Chargers, putting him over his line in our four-leg parlay.
