Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks
These teams faced off just four weeks ago in Los Angeles, with the Rams emerging victorious. The Rams’ offense did not have the best game, with Matthew Stafford only throwing for 130 yards, and Puka Nacua and Davante Adams combining for only 76 yards. Sam Darnold threw four interceptions to help the Rams along the way. I don’t see Darnold having that bad a game again this time around. With Adams looking to be missing this game, I lean toward the Seahawks winning this one, thanks to the absence of Adams and Darnold playing a cleaner game (hopefully).
With Adams’ status still in the air, the Rams will lean more on the run game in the red zone, creating opportunities for Kyren Williams. He is the team leader in red-zone carries (41) on the season, but Blake Corum has been closing the gap over the last three games. Williams did find the end zone in the first matchup against the Seahawks, where he saw four carries and two targets in the red zone.
For my longshot parlay this week, I’m going with a revenge narrative in Cooper Kupp scoring against his former team. He did not score in their first matchup but did see one red-zone target. The Rams are allowing the 12th-most touchdowns to wide receivers, the most of any opposing position group.
