NFL Thursday Night Football Player Props: Panthers vs. Packers

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Jordan Love 2+ Passing Touchdowns (-154)

The juice on this selection is getting a bit out of control. If you want to add this prop to your bets this evening, get it in early. At this rate, Jordan Love’s total touchdowns could climb to three. You can also consider Love to pass for 100+ yards (-125) in each half if the juice on the touchdowns isn't your speed.

Love has thrown for at least two touchdowns in six out of seven games this season. Given the high tax on the success rate, oddsmakers are clearly expecting the young quarterback to sling two touchdowns against Carolina. Love has thrown at least two touchdowns in three out of four home games dating back to last season.

Chuba Hubbard Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-115)

You can throw away Chuba Hubbard’s performance last week in what was a complete nightmare for the Carolina Panthers. Hubbard rushed for a season-low seven attempts. Before Sunday, Hubbard scored three touchdowns in two games. The Panthers running back has scored in four out of six games.

Carolina had made a strong effort to get the running game going over the last three weeks - before playing Tampa on Sunday. Hubbard rushed for 67 carries over three contests, with at least 19 attempts per contest. Jalen Coker and Tetairoa McMillan have combined for four touchdowns this season and haven’t crossed the goal line since Week 4. If Carolina wants to meet its expectation of 22+ points, we expect Hubbard to account for at least one touchdown.

Josh Jacobs 3+ Receptions (-135)

Our next selection is somewhat surprising given the immediate role Josh Jacobs played in the passing game on Sunday. In his first game back, Jacobs was targeted on seven passes and caught five. His receiving yardage prop is highly tempting at 20+ for a +105 return. Ultimately, we are going to play it safe and back Jacobs’ receptions.

Since last season, Jacobs has finished with three or more receptions in six out of the last 10 games. The Green Bay running back caught four passes in the Packers’ loss to the Panthers last season. Jordan Love has attempted 86 passes over the previous two contests. With that volume, Jacobs is a strong candidate to reach the three-reception threshold.

Savion Williams 25+ Receiving Yards (-114)

We close out the night with our sweatiest selection of all. Savion Williams has cleared 25 yards in two consecutive games. With limited options at wide receiver for Green Bay, Williams is being asked to take on a bigger role. He has responded with 69 yards in the last two games.

Williams has caught every target thrown his way, showing his reliability. With most coverage focused on Christian Watson and Matthew Golden, Williams should find some open looks downfield. He has cleared 30+ yards in each game this season, so 25+ yards seems reasonable at almost even money.
