NFL Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Patriots vs. Bears
It may be hard to believe, but after six weeks, one team is 0-6 - the Los Angeles Chargers. The Miami Dolphins are sitting at 0-5, but they had a Week 6 bye. As for undefeated teams, there are three - the San Francisco 49ers (6-0), Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings (both at 5-0). To kick off Week 7, we have a classic matchup, as the Chicago Bears host the New England Patriots, featuring Caleb Williams and Drake Maye, two of the top three picks from the 2024 NFL Draft. Below is our best NFL Thursday Night Football same game parlay (SGP) for Patriots vs. Bears.

NFL Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Patriots vs. Bears
(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
New England Patriots at Chicago Bears
Leg 1: Chicago Bears Moneyline (-115)
Returning from injury, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams looked fantastic, completing 30-of-36 passes for 305 yards and one touchdown on the road against the Atlanta Falcons. Now, on a short week, Williams and the Bears head back home to take on the Patriots and a surging Drake Maye, who has 10 passing touchdowns over his last three games.
However, Maye will face a Bears defense that’s fourth in the NFL in man coverage snaps (61). Against man coverage this season, Maye has completed 51.3% of his passes for 306 yards (7.8 yards per attempt) with four touchdowns and two interceptions. Of those four touchdowns, one went to tight end Hunter Henry; the Bears have allowed only two touchdowns to tight ends all season. The other touchdown was to wide receiver Romeo Doubs, who’s now on injured reserve (IR).
On top of that, the Bears have the NFL’s best rushing attack, averaging over 160 rushing yards per game. With their ground game, Williams looking great and back at home, the Bears edge out a win.
Leg 2: D’Andre Swift Under 14.5 Rush Attempts (-126)
Fellow Bears running back Kyle Monangai missed Week 6 with a thumb and toe injury. Without him, D’Andre Swift ran 16 times for 44 yards and scored twice. Despite the two touchdowns, his efficiency was abysmal - 2.8 yards per carry. This is a trend, as he’s averaged fewer than four yards per carry in two of his last three games and is at 4.2 yards per carry this season.
Swift has 15+ carries in all but one game this season, but on a short week and a poor efficiency outing, the Bears gave Roschon Johnson a bit more work (he had 13 carries in Week 6). If Monangai plays, that could also contribute to less work.
I’ll lean under on Swift’s attempts. Only two running backs have run 15+ times against the Patriots this season.
Leg 3: A.J. Brown 70+ Receiving Yards (-103)
It wasn’t a great return to the lineup: A.J. Brown caught three passes for 27 yards. However, he led the team with 10 targets. Doubs on IR means even less competition for Brown.
There isn’t much data on Brown with the Patriots, as he only played in Week 1 before returning last week, but with that volume (33.3% target share) and Doubs sidelined, I’ll take a chance on him for 70+ yards.
