The NFL season kicks off its international schedule in Week 1 with a matchup of 2023 Playoff teams and NFC contenders when the Packers take on the Eagles. Philadelphia is looking to forget that ending to last season, where they lost six of seven games, including a Wild Card Round matchup with the Buccaneers. In response, the Eagles overhauled their coaching staff and brought in Kellen Moore to coach the offense and Vic Fangio for the defense. Green Bay was elite offensively in the second half last year led by Jordan Love and that passing attack. They’ll bring almost everyone back and debut Josh Jacobs at RB. The Packers’ defense, however, was average, and they didn’t do much in the offseason to address it. Philadelphia should still have one of the strongest offenses in the league with Jalen Hurts at quarterback. They’ll lean on that strength and behind what should be an improved defense behind Vic Fangio and get a cover on the opening Friday night in Brazil.
