NFL Week 1 Player Prop Odds, Picks & Predictions: Sunday Night Football (2022)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys clash in a head-to-head primetime Sunday Night Football matchup. With 13 and 12 wins last season, both teams are primed for a great year in 2022. Here are my favorite Sunday Night Football player props.

Dalton Schultz Over 4.5 Receptions (-148)

The Cowboys shipped off Amari Cooper for pocket change this off-season. Last year Cooper accounted for a target share of 18.8%, which is now up for grabs. As a result, Dalton Schultz should see an influx of targets to start the season. Additionally, Schultz exceeded 4.5 receptions in 11 out of 18 (61.1%) games, including playoffs, despite the presence of Cooper for much of the season. Furthermore, Tampa Bay allowed an average of 5.4 receptions to the tight end position in 2021, the 8th most in the NFL. In a game with the fourth-highest projected point total this week, expect Schultz to see the volume necessary to record five or more receptions. This is my favorite of the Sunday Night Football player props.
