The Saints have failed to impress this season, and they’ve lost outright to the two teams the Steelers have beaten. Further, quarterback Andy Dalton has historically struggled in Pittsburgh (2-6 ATS for his career), and has failed to cover on the road in five consecutive starts. This isn’t an ideal spot for the Saints QB, whereas it is for the Steelers and HC Mike Tomlin. For his career, Tomlin has an 16-3-3 ATS record as a home underdog, and the Steelers project to return the reigning DPOY, TJ Watt, to the field.
The Steelers have stumbled to a 2-6 start, but they’ve also played without question the most difficult schedule in the NFL. I like the battle-tested Steelers to beat the Saints at home.
