NFL Week 10 Pick’em Pool Predictions (2025)
Last week featured some crazy outcomes. The Lions and Packers each lost as massive home favorites, while the Patriots, Chargers and Jaguars looked far from convincing in victories over far inferior opponents. This week, there are eight games with point spreads of 4.5 or less.

NFL Week 10 Pick’em Pool Predictions (2025)
Cleveland Browns vs. New York Jets
The last time the Jets took the field, they defeated the Bengals 39-38 for their first win of the season. While that may give them some momentum, they certainly shouldn't be favored on Sunday, even if they're playing the 2-6 Browns. They just traded away two of their best defensive players, Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, and though they scored 39 points in Week 8, they're averaging just 21 points per game.
For as bad as things have been for the Browns, they still have the ninth-best rush defense in football, allowing just 94.3 yards per game, and they're still second in the league in yards allowed per carry, giving up 3.6 per attempt.
With Breece Hall neutralized, the Jets will need a massive game from Justin Fields against the fifth-best pass defense in football. It's not going to happen. The Browns have offensive problems of their own, as they're averaging just 15.8 points per game. However, in what is sure to be a low-scoring game, I trust Dillon Gabriel and his teammates against a defense without two massive playmakers.
Pick: Cleveland Browns
New England Patriots vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Patriots are 7-2, and ever since defeating the Bills in Buffalo, they feel like a legitimate contender to win the AFC. However, this is still a team that has only beaten two teams with winning records, the aforementioned Bills and the Panthers.
The Buccaneers have not looked right offensively in back-to-back games. One week after losing 24-9 to the Lions, they managed just 212 yards of total offense against the Saints, as Baker Mayfield threw for just 152 yards.
The good news for the Buccaneers is that the Patriots' defense isn't very good against the pass. While the Buccaneers struggle against quarterbacks as well, I simply trust Mayfield more in a shootout, especially after what he did against Sam Darnold and the Seahawks earlier this season. Both rush defenses rank in the top seven in the league, so expect this to be a duel between two quarterbacks, a matchup that, for now, gives the advantage to the Buccaneers.
Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers
When these two teams met in Week 4, the 49ers forced two turnovers, as they defeated the Rams 26-23 in overtime. Matthew Stafford and Mac Jones each threw for over 340 yards in that game, while Kendrick Bourne racked up 142 yards for a depleted 49ers' offense.
While it looks like Jones will get the start for the 49ers again this weekend, I am much more confident in Stafford replicating his performance against the 49ers than Jones replicating his against the Rams. The Rams currently have the 13th-ranked pass defense, and they're allowing just 15.9 points per game.
While the 49ers picked up an easy win against the Giants last week, they're just 2-2 in their last four games, with double-digit losses to the Texans and Buccaneers. Meanwhile, the Rams have won three consecutive games by at least 14 points since losing to the 49ers. Their opponents weren't the best, but the defense still allowed just 20 points in three games, a remarkable feat in today's NFL.
Pick: Los Angeles Rams
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers
The Packers are coming off a 16-13 home loss to the Panthers, and while some will look at this as a fluke, the truth is, the Packers haven't looked that good this season. Sure, they beat the Lions and Commanders in back-to-back games to start the season, but since then, they're just 3-2-1, with losses to the Panthers and Browns, and a tie against the Cowboys.
While the Eagles have had their own problems, they won back-to-back games entering their bye week, and they've already taken down some of the NFL's best teams in the Rams, Buccaneers and Chiefs.
While the Packers rank better than the Eagles in nearly every key category both offensively and defensively, their red-zone troubles are very alarming entering this game. They're converting just 55.6% of red-zone opportunities into touchdowns at home this season, while the Eagles have the third-best red-zone defense in the league, allowing just 46.15% of opportunities to be converted. Add the fact that the Eagles have the best red-zone offense in football, and it's not hard to see how the Packers leave Monday night on a two-game losing streak.
Pick: Philadelphia Eagles
