NFL Week 10 Teasers: Picks & Predictions (2024)
One popular way bettors try to find value on NFL lines is by playing teasers. An NFL teaser is similar to a parlay; you add multiple legs that must all win for the bet to pay out. The key difference from parlays is that a teaser allows you to buy points - like 6.0, 6.5, or 7.0 - in a direction that lowers risk.
Teaser Tips to Follow:
- Never cross over 0
- Tease through two key numbers, ideally 3 & 7
- Tease games with lower totals, ideally anything 49 or fewer
Below are four teaser options for Week 10, along with my best teaser bet.

Week 10 Teaser Options
(Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook)
Minnesota Vikings (-7 to -1) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
With the news trending that Trevor Lawrence is unlikely to play this week, the spread has shot up to teaser territory. While the Vikings should cover this number without teasing, getting it down to -1 is a bonus.
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson has yet to name a starting quarterback, but it’s assumed Mac Jones will get the call.
Brian Flores’ Dolphins defense should have an overwhelming edge against Jones and this banged-up Jaguars offense.
Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5 to -1.5) vs. Denver Broncos
If this game had been played in Denver, I would probably have stayed away, as the Chiefs were coming off a short week.
However, having the advantage of this game being played at home bodes well for the Chiefs.
While the Chiefs’ defense has been the unsung hero thus far, Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and the offense have found another gear with the addition of DeAndre Hopkins.
Mahomes had arguably his best game of the 2024 season - 291 yards with, a season-high three touchdown passes (two to Hopkins) and a passer rating of 116.8.
Philadelphia Eagles (-7.5 to -1.5) vs. Dallas Cowboys
I’m not sure Cooper Rush is the answer for the Cowboys, but teasing this line to -1.5 eliminates the possibility of a late backdoor cover.
The Eagles’ offense has been rolling over its four-game winning streak, averaging 28 points per game. Yes, it’s been against below-average teams like the Browns, Giants, Bengals and Jaguars, but the 2024 Dallas Cowboys fit into that category as well.
The Cowboys’ defense has been atrocious this season, allowing an average of 36 points per game over the last three weeks. Even if Micah Parsons returns to the lineup, they will still have trouble stopping the run. The way Saquon Barkley is playing right now, we may see another lopsided win for the Eagles.
Arizona Cardinals (+2 to +8) vs. New York Jets
If you haven’t looked at the standings in a while, you may be surprised to see the Arizona Cardinals in first place in the NFC West.
The Cardinals are playing good football right now, having won three straight against the Chargers, Dolphins and Bears. While it’s not the cream of the crop of the NFL, two of those three teams were above .500 when they met.
The Jets finally won a game but were outgunned by a Texans team that had multiple playmakers down. The game was within one score with two minutes left in the fourth quarter, so the final score is a bit deceiving.
I love how the Cardinals have been grinding out wins over the last month or so, but a 2-point spread is a little scary.
The Cardinals have the run game to attack the Jets’ defense and control the clock, keeping Aaron Rodgers and the Jets’ offense off the field as much as possible. Teasing the Cardinals to +8 is a much safer bet.
