NFL Week 14 First Touchdown Scorers Picks & Predictions

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens

The Bills dominated the Steelers on the ground last week, and the Ravens should implement a similar game plan. The Steelers have defended the run well this season, but gave up 249 rushing yards last week. Derrick Henry and the Ravens rank fifth in the league with 136.8 rushing yards per game.

Henry is also a different back in the later months of the season when it gets cold. He has scored a touchdown in three consecutive games, including two in Week 12 against the Jets. Henry is running the ball well right now and has the lowest odds to score first for good reason.

Pick: Derrick Henry (+425 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

Cincinnati Bengals @ Buffalo Bills

There is only one Bills wide receiver worth betting on, and it is Khalil Shakir. He leads the team with 6.3 targets per game and has 11 targets in the red zone. He has caught seven of those, but only one for a touchdown. The Bengals' high-powered offense is likely back this week with Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and (presumably) Tee Higgins.

The Bills should throw the ball in this game and will score a lot of points. Shakir is a good bet to find the end zone and offers solid value to score first.

Pick: Khalil Shakir (+1600 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Michael Pittman Jr. has had a nose for the end zone this season, but has cooled down over his last four games. He had six touchdowns in the first eight games of the season, but has only scored once in the Colts' last four games.

The Jaguars' pass defense uses two-high coverage 58.8% of the time, and Pittman leads the team with a 22.5% target share against that defense. He is also second on the team with 11 red-zone targets, catching seven of them for five touchdowns. Pittman should feast this week against the Jaguars and has a solid chance of scoring.

Pick: Michael Pittman Jr. (+1200 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

D'Andre Swift is coming off a big week. He ran 18 times for 125 yards and scored a touchdown, his first since Week 8. The Packers only allow 98.3 rushing yards per game, but have allowed three rushing touchdowns in the last three weeks.

Swift is tied with Kyle Monangai with 29 rushing attempts in the red zone this season, but Monangai was limited in practice on Thursday with an ankle injury. D'Andre Swift could see his usage increase this week, especially if Ben Johnson runs the ball as much as he did last week. Swift is a solid play this week, as the Bears possess the ball first 80% of the time.

Pick: D'Andre Swift (+1100 via theScore Bet)
