NFL Week 14 Weather Report & Predictions (2024)
It’s Week 14 of the National Football League (NFL) regular season. After we saw a couple of very entertaining snow games in primetime in the past couple of weeks in Cleveland and Buffalo, we’ll get a break from the white stuff. Temperatures across the continental United States will be relatively mild, and there won’t be a ton of moisture, at least in cities with NFL venues.
We have six teams on a bye in Week 14, the final teams to have off, so we’ll have three fewer games, too. With four games indoors in Week 14, for early December, weather won’t be much of a factor in this critical week for fantasy football leagues, which is either the final week of the regular season, or the penultimate week, in most leagues.
Let’s dive into the Week 14 weather report.

NFL Week 14 Weather Report: Advice & Predictions
(All forecasts courtesy of AccuWeather.com | Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook)
Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings (-6) | Total 45.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind speed: This game is played in a dome
The return of QB Kirk Cousins in Minnesota will be rather interesting. QB Sam Darnold has not only replaced him but the team has been taken to a new level, with the Vikings as one of just five teams with 10 or more victories.
New Orleans Saints (-5) at New York Giants | Total 41
Forecast: 51 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 13-16 MPH
While the Saints and Giants won’t have to deal with any precipitation and the temperatures will be rather mild, sustained winds of 13-16 MPH, with gusts to 20-25 MPH, could substantially hinder the passing and kicking games.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (-3) | Total 40
Forecast: 54 degrees, 35% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 8-10 MPH
The first half of this AFC South battle should be fine, but the weather is expected to roll in for the second half. Don’t expect the showers to be very heavy initially, perhaps only a light drizzle at first. But we could get steadier showers into the fourth quarter.
Las Vegas Raiders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6.5) | Total 46
Forecast: 71 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 4-5 MPH
The Raiders make the cross-country trek, playing its fourth game outdoors in the past five outings. For what it’s worth, the Over is 4-1 in the five previous road games for Vegas outdoors. Weather won’t hinder these teams in the least.
Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (-6.5) | Total 43.5
Forecast: 47 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 9-11 MPH
These teams met just two weeks ago on Thursday night in a snow-globe game. The weather will be mild in the rematch, and there is very little chance of any precipitation. If there is any concern, it could be an occasional strong breeze.
Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles (-13.5) | Total 46
Forecast: 54 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 15-18 MPH
There will not be any threat of precipitation, and the temperatures will be rather balmy in the City of Brotherly Love. However, this will be the windiest NFL venue, with sustained winds nearing 20 MPH at times. The passing and kicking games could be seriously affected.
New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (-6) | Total 45
Forecast: 77 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 9-11 MPH
The Jets and Dolphins will battle in South Florida with very mild temperatures. It’s actually rather pleasant for Florida, even at this time of season, but cramping could be an issue for the visitors.
Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (-3) | Total 44.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind speed: This game is played in a dome
These teams just met in Week 12 with some passing showers and coolish temperatures in a low-scoring game in the Pacific Northwest. In the past five meetings outdoors in Seattle, the Under has cashed in six straight meetings, including a 16-6 Seattle win in Week 12. In the past four indoor meetings in Arizona, the Over is 3-1.
Buffalo Bills (-3.5) at Los Angeles Rams | Total 49.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind speed: This game is played in a dome
The Bills and Rams play indoors in a game with impressive pass games. Buffalo was impressive against another NFC West team, the San Francisco 49ers, last week in the snow and ice. Imagine how good it’ll look on the fast track at SoFi Stadium.
Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers (-3.5) | Total 44
Forecast: 67 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 6-8 MPH
The 49ers not only lost decisively in the snow and ice in Buffalo last week, but RBs Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason each went down with season-ending injuries, too. At least the weather will be pleasant back home as RB Isaac Guerendo takes over as RB1.
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs (-4) | Total 43
Forecast: 50 degrees, 15% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 7-9 MPH
The most recent Sunday Night game was a winter wonderland, but we will only have a slight chance of precipitation for Week 14’s SNF game, and if it does fall, it will be of the liquid variety. Let’s hope Week 15 will give us more snow. It’s great, isn’t it?
Cincinnati Bengals (-5.5) at Dallas Cowboys | Total 49.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind speed: This game is played in a dome
In the Disappointment Bowl, we get two sub-.500 teams, which would have been flexed out of this spot if not for…The Simpsons? Yeah, the NFL is doing one of those ridiculous cartoon simulcast kind of things, and since it was already in production, the NFL was basically forced to keep this matchup for Monday. Yippee.
