Week 15 Early Line Movement

Commanders vs. Saints

Early opening lines had Jayden Daniels and commanders as 3-point road favorites against the Saints. But after seeing Derek Carr go down with an injury, lines were taken down and released against Sunday night with the Commanders now 7-point chalk.

Dolphins vs. Texans

Caesars initially had Miami as 2.5-point favorites as they traveled to Houston to make a late playoff push. By Tuesday morning, action on Miami pushed this line up to the key number of 3.

Bengals vs. Titans

Ahead of their Week 14 matchup with the Cowboys, DraftKings listed the Bengals as 5.5-point road favorites against the Titans. Despite losing to the Jaguars, notable action on the Titans knocked this line down to 4.5 in most spots. After the Bengals’ Monday night win, this line jumped back to 5, where it seems to have settled across the board.

Ravens vs. Giants

After the bye, Baltimore looks poised for the postseason and to regain its lead in the AFC North. Baltimore opened as a 13.5-point road favorite but became a popular play among both pros and casual bettors, causing this line to jump to 14.5 within the first hour of being released. By Tuesday morning, the line climbed to 15 in most spots, including DraftKings, FanDuel, and Caesars.

Chiefs vs. Browns

Before kickoff on Sunday, DraftKings listed the Chiefs as 6.5-point favorites. This line dropped considerably by Monday afternoon, settling at 4 or 4.5, depending on the sportsbook. As of Tuesday morning, the market seems to have settled at 4, though a few 4.5s remain at books like South Point in Las Vegas.

Cowboys vs. Panthers

For the first time since 2022, the Carolina Panthers are listed as favorites in an NFL game. Books opened with the Panthers as 1-point home favorites heading into their Week 15 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. As Dallas fumbled its way to another loss on Monday night, this line moved to 2.5 by Tuesday morning.

Steelers vs. Eagles

In the Battle of Pennsylvania, the Eagles opened as 4-point favorites against the surging Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite rumors of internal turmoil between A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts, support for the Eagles moved this line to 4.5. By Tuesday morning, a few 5s had started appearing across the market.

Bills vs. Lions

Two Super Bowl hopefuls face off Sunday afternoon as the Detroit Lions host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Detroit opened as 3-point home favorites. However, many bettors anticipated a bounce-back game for the Bills, dropping the line to 2.5 by Monday morning. Support for the Bills continued into Monday night. Caesars and DraftKings now have this line as low as 2, while Circa and South Point in Las Vegas still list it at 2.5.
