The Ravens lost 29-24 to the Browns in Week 8. Even in a losing effort, Lamar Jackson had 289 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and 46 rushing yards. Baltimore will look to exact revenge against the injury-ravaged and unmotivated Browns while locking up the AFC North title and the No. 3 seed in the AFC.
According to Pro-Football-Reference, Jackson has averaged 247.2 passing yards per game, 2.4 passing touchdowns per game and 53.3 rushing yards per game in 16 games this season. The reigning NFL MVP has reached at least 200 passing yards 12 times, including in four wins by at least 10 points. Jackson has also passed for at least two touchdowns in 11 games, and three of the times he fell short were losses.
Additionally, Jackson has rushed for at least 40 yards 12 times, with a median of 49. He’s had at least 200 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and 40 rushing yards in five games. Still, FantasyPros projects Jackson for 220.8 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and 55.9 rushing yards. While I don’t like to go down narrative street often, if the Browns aren’t providing the Ravens with any competition, they might try to pad Jackson’s stats to help him win a tight MVP race.
Derrick Henry should also have a stellar showing this week. King Henry has averaged 111.4 rushing yards per game with a median of 99. He’s reached at least 90 yards nine times.
Unsurprisingly, Henry has also been at his best in wins. In 11 victories this season, Henry has averaged 130.3 rushing yards. He had at least 90 rushing yards in nine of those 11 victories. FantasyPros projects Henry for 101 rushing yards this week.
