Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders started the season 1-0 with a win over Jacksonville. In Week 2, the Commanders will face the Detroit Lions. Suppose the Commanders lose to the Lions on Sunday and the Eagles earn a victory over the Minnesota Vikings. In that case, the Eagles will be much heavier favorites against the Commanders for Week 3, despite playing on the road.
The Eagles dropped 38 points on the Lions, and if they can score enough to beat the Minnesota Vikings, they will look like the best team in the NFC East.
Plus, the Commanders will practically start the season against two non-playoff contenders. Bettors will take note of that, ultimately pushing the line to more than -3.
