NFL Week 3 Weather Report: Advice & Predictions (2022)
Last week presented a relatively tame week of weather, although our weather play of the week did hit with the 49ers and Seahawks going under the point total.
Hereâs what Mother Nature has in store for Week 3, along with betting tips for the most significant weather conditions:
All weather forecasts come from AccuWeather.com

Houston Texans at Chicago Bears (-2.5) | Total 39.5
Forecast: 69 degrees, 85% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 20-36 MPH
Once again, the weather will be at least a mild factor on Sunday in Chicago. While the rain is expected to be relatively light, sustained winds at 20 MPH could significantly impact the passing and kicking games, making the under a stronger play.
Baltimore Ravens (-2.5) at New England Patriots | Total 44.5
Forecast: 70 degrees, 59% chance of rain
Wind speed: 8-16 MPH
If it does rain at Gillette Stadium, it likely wonât impact the game. The winds will also be relatively calm.
New Orleans Saints (-2.5) at Carolina Panthers | Total 41
Forecast: 82 degrees, 40% chance of rain
Wind speed: 8-17 MPH
AccuWeather leaves the door open for a thunderstorm, but it seems more likely that rain will barely impact this game, if it does at all. Another tame forecast.
Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5) at Washington Commanders | Total 47.5
Forecast: 76 degrees, 63% chance of rain
Wind speed: 9-17 MPH
Another forecast where rain is in the equation but shouldnât play a role in the game. Nothing to worry about in D.C.
Buffalo Bills (-5.5) at Miami Dolphins | Total 53
Forecast: 88 degrees, 40% chance of rain
Wind speed: 8-20 MPH
Rain is always possible in Miami, but the humidity will be a potential factor for the visiting Bills. RealFeel temperatures are expected to approach triple digits, which could be a cause for concern late in the game for Buffalo. Otherwise, the forecast doesnât present anything abnormal to worry about.
Cincinnati Bengals (-6) at New York Jets | Total 45
Forecast: 74 degrees, 55% chance of rain
Wind speed: 8-14 MPH
There doesnât appear to be any significant weather hitting the New York / New Jersey area. Once again, a brief shower could be the only concern.
Las Vegas Raiders (-1.5) at Tennessee Titans | Total 45.5
Forecast: 83 degrees, 40% chance of rain
Wind speed: 8-22 MPH
Some gusty winds could come into play in this game, but otherwise, the forecast looks tame in the Music City.
Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1.5) | Total 42
Forecast: 88 degrees, 40% chance of rain
Wind speed: 7-12 MPH
Other than a pop-up shower, it looks like itâll be a hot but nice day at Raymond James Stadium.
Atlanta Falcons at Seattle Seahawks (-1) | Total 42
Forecast: 72 degrees, 1% chance of rain
Wind speed: 8-23 MPH
A picture-perfect day for football in Seattle.
San Francisco 49ers (-1.5) at Denver Broncos | Total 44
Forecast: 70 degrees, 2% chance of rain
Wind speed: 6-15 MPH
Weather wonât be a factor in this Sunday night showdown.
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants (-1) | Total 39
Forecast: 70 degrees, 13% chance of rain
Wind speed: 6-14 MPH
The Daniel Jones vs. Cooper Rush battle will not be impacted by weather, thank goodness.
Week 3 Weather Play of the Week
- Bears-Texans under 39.5
These offenses struggle enough in great conditions. But windy weather in Chicago could force these run-oriented teams to emphasize the ground game even more.
