Amari Cooper (+950)

The Cleveland Browns travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons on Sunday as one-point favorites. Amari Cooper was the first touchdown in last week’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and we are taking a shot on him to do so once again this week.

After a slow Week 1, Cooper has exploded over the past two games as he has collected 16 catches for 202 yards and two touchdowns. His targets have been in the double digits each of the last two weeks, which is promising moving forward.

Going against Atlanta’s terrible secondary, Cooper should be in store for a big game. Through the first three weeks, the Falcons rank 27th in the league in passing defense and 26th in points against.

Atlanta has given up the first touchdown in two of the first three weeks, and if they do so once again, It will likely be to a receiver. In Week 1, the Falcons gave up 12 catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns to Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas.

In Week 2, they gave up 15 catches for 161 yards and three touchdowns to Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson. In Week 3, they gave up 14 catches for 140 yards and one touchdown to Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf.

Needless to say, this secondary has gotten torched this season. With Cooper entering this game in strong form, he is worth a flyer at 19/2 to score the first touchdown.

Mark Andrews (+950)

We are targeting another guy at 19/2 to score the first touchdown on Sunday: Mark Andrews. The Baltimore Ravens host the Buffalo Bills as three-point underdogs.

While Buffalo’s secondary is usually one of the league’s best, It is crippled with injuries. Micah Hyde is out for the season, Jordan Poyer is most likely out, Tre’Davious White is out, Dane Jackson is questionable, and Christian Benford is out.

They are so desperate for healthy defensive backs that they signed veteran free-agent Xavier Rhodes. So, naturally, he hurt his hamstring this week and has been ruled out for Sunday.

That is practically their entire secondary that is slated to miss this game, which is great news for Andrews and the Ravens’ pass offense. Andrews scored the game’s first touchdown last week against the Patriots and should be a great candidate to do so again in this contest.

Picking up right where he left off last season, the tight end has amassed 22 catches for 245 yards and three touchdowns through the first three games of the year. Serving as Lamar Jackson’s favorite target, Andrews leads the team with 31 targets.

Andrews is hard enough to slow down with a healthy defense, so the Bills’ lack of healthy bodies in the secondary will be a massive problem in this game.

Best of luck!
