NFL Week 5 Anytime TD Scorer & Win Parlays

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals

Let's start off our touchdown & win parlays with Arizona hosting Detroit. The 2-2 Lions are looking to rebound after losing to the Panthers last Sunday night. They're favored on the road against the 1-3 Cardinals, who have lost three straight.

Detroit has been a trustworthy team to back after losing under head coach Dan Campbell. Over the past four seasons, the Lions are 14-2 following a loss. Campbell simply knows how to get his squad to respond in these spots. It's also a big opportunity for Detroit to head into next week's bye with a winning record.

Meanwhile, Arizona is in a tailspin after its Week 1 win. The Cardinals are allowing 34.3 points per game in their current three-game losing streak. Their shaky defense now faces a high-powered Detroit attack that's averaging 29.8 points per game (PPG) this season. The Lions' defense hasn't been any better, but Jared Goff and the offense should pace them to victory.

As the Lions put up points, Amon-Ra St. Brown is a good pick to score. Detroit's star wideout has five touchdowns through four games. He was held out of the end zone last week, but is in a prime spot to get back there. The Cardinals have allowed a league-high eight touchdowns to opposing wide receivers this season.

St. Brown also has a whopping 46 red-zone targets over the first four games. That includes at least 11 targets in three of the four weeks. Goff is looking his way plenty near the end zone. Combine that with Arizona’s tendency to allow touchdowns to wideouts, and St. Brown should help cash this parlay.

Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers

Let's go with some longer odds for our second parlay. The 2-2 Steelers return home after losing at Cleveland last week. They're 3-point favorites against the 2-2 Colts, who are fresh off beating the Commanders in London. Take Pittsburgh to bounce back and beat Indianapolis.

The Colts have been dealt a tough hand, having to play on the road right after a trip to London. It's always a tough spot for NFL teams without a bye week in between games. Plus, Indianapolis is still very unproven this season. Its two wins have come against the 0-4 Texans and a Washington squad that was down to its third-string quarterback last week.

Before that, the Indianapolis defense allowed 41 and 33 points in its first two losses to Baltimore and Kansas City, respectively. The Colts' defensive struggles could return on the road against Aaron Rodgers and Co. this week, especially against the pass. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh's offense has woken up lately. The Steelers should have success through the air to control the game and come out with a win.

On that note, bank on Roman Wilson finding the end zone. The Pittsburgh wideout has scored in back-to-back games coming into this weekend. He can make it three straight, as the Colts have allowed four touchdowns to opposing wide receivers so far. Indianapolis is also allowing the seventh-most receiving yards per game to wide receivers.

Plus, Wilson's 24 red-zone targets this year are second on the team behind DK Metcalf. The latter might be the safer bet to score, but Wilson offers juicier odds. He's seen a consistent six red-zone targets in all four games thus far.
