NFL Week 5 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Bears vs. Vikings
The Bears take on the Vikings who are in a vulnerable spot following a long trip to London. The matchup, on paper, is favorable for Minnesota. Their rushing attack of Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison should have a field day against a Chicago rush defense that has surrendered 5.1 yards per carry on the season.
Minnesota’s defense has only ranked 26th in DVOA, but against an anemic Bears offense, specifically the passing attack, they may find reprieve.
There isn’t much data to suggest how teams play following a London trip with no bye. This could be an situation where the Vikings come out slow, but with a Bears offense that has struggled to score all season, even a slow start could end with a victory of a touchdown or more for Minnesota.
