Leg #1. Detroit Lions and New England Patriots Over 46.5 total points (-110)

Both of these teams were involved in high-scoring games last week.

The Lions are coming off a 90-point shoot between the Seahawks, with several offensive playmakers missing the game with injuries. The Detroit defense has been proving to be a pushover this season as they’re last in points allowed per game (35.3) and total yards (1,779).

The Patriots’ quarterback situation is up in the air with Mac Jones injured, Brian Hoyer leaving last week’s loss to Green Bay, with third-string rookie Bailey Zappe playing behind center.

Either way, this is an excellent spot to take the over as the Lions haven’t stopped anyone, and the over has hit in all four games this season. With a week to prepare, the Pats should create a game plan to score points.

Leg #2. Jaguars -7 (-110)

The Jaguars’ turnaround looks promising as they’re in first place in the AFC South, and their +38 points differential is the third-best to Buffalo and Philadelphia.

Former No.1 pick Trevor Lawrence in his sophomore year is becoming what experts projected and has 946 passing yards and eight touchdowns through four games. This team comes with balance, and the defense is grabbing everyone’s attention allowing the four fewest points this season.

New coach, same results in Houston with the Texans as the last winless team in the league. Aside from flashes by rookie Dameon Pierce, the offense has been stagnant, and the defense that showed some promise in the preseason has faulted so far. They’re sitting in the bottom six in scoring offense and defense, so this looks like a tough spot for them and another division loss.

Leg #3. Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs Over 51.5 total points (-110)

The Chiefs vs. Raiders is always a fun game to watch, and it is always a potential shootout. Kansas City is in their usual spot at the top of the AFC West, while the Raiders finally got their first win last week.

Both defenses haven’t been stellar this season and are in the bottom half of the league in points allowed and total yards. Both offenses have been excellent and scored 56.5 points per game. The over has smashed in four straight matchups by a margin of 10.3 points per game, and you expect another high-scoring battle on Sunday Night.
