NFL Week 7 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Buccaneers vs. Panthers

P.J. Walker started last week but did not finish due to a neck injury. The offense had 203 yards, with Walker and backup Jacob Eason at quarterback. They combined for only 110 passing yards, and Christian McCaffrey accounted for 89 yards. Steve Wilks named Walker the starter again this week. After an incident on the sideline, Carolina traded Robbie Anderson to Arizona, which removes a field-stretching threat from the offense. They also dealt CMC to the 49ers, a huge blow to the offense.

Last week, the Buccaneers lost to the Steelers as a 10.5-point favorite. The Buccaneers have averaged a league-low 67.5 rushing yards per game. Tampa Bay is fourth in the league in passing attempts per game with 41.2, but against the Panthers, they should run the ball more. The Panthers allow 133.3 rushing yards per game, so Leonard Fournette should have more room to run this week.
