NFL Week 8 Anytime Touchdown Scorer & Win Parlays (2025)

Things sure started on the right foot regarding last week’s anytime touchdown scorer & win parlays. Davante Adams scored in the first quarter and added two more for good measure while the Rams triumphed by 28 points. However, it only got disappointing after that. Despite both of the other teams I picked winning and scoring four touchdowns each, neither of the players I chose scored. But we are still at a healthy 12-9 on the year, with at least one win in every week. Let’s improve on that record here in Week 8. We have fewer games to choose from with six teams on a bye. However, I have identified a few spots that should prove profitable. Below are my three favorite Week 8 anytime touchdown scorer & win parlays.

You may read below and wonder why Jonathan Taylor is not on this list. He and the Indianapolis Colts are the most obvious pairing of the week against the Tennessee Titans. Last time these teams squared off, he scored three times and the Colts won by 21 points. That is actually a massive part of the problem. Sportsbooks aren’t stupid, and they have priced Taylor accordingly. The cheapest Taylor/Colts parlay I’ve found is -238 at Caesars Sportsbook. That means you would have to risk 2.38 units to make 1 unit in profit. I won’t fault anyone for playing it, but that is too rich for my blood. With that said, here are this week’s picks.

NFL Week 8 Anytime Touchdown Scorer & Win Parlays

Miami Dolphins at Atlanta Falcons

I am going to let the cat out of the bag and admit that my anytime touchdown scorer for this game is Falcons running back Bijan Robinson because I can already hear you asking why I am picking him and the Atlanta Falcons after just saying why I cannot justify a Jonathan Taylor pick. It’s simple economics, really. As I just mentioned, Taylor and the Colts are -238. By risking 2.38 units on a single play, you could miss the Taylor/Colts parlay, hit the other two, and still end up in the red. I never want a scenario where I go 2-1 and do not earn a profit. I hope that makes sense, but use your own judgment when tailing any picks.

As for the pick itself, I wish I had more faith in Atlanta’s passing attack because Miami ranks dead last in passing defense DVOA (defense-adjusted value over average). However, Michael Penix Jr. has only thrown five touchdowns in six games. And two of those have been scored by none other than Bijan Robinson. Robinson has scored a touchdown in four out of six games and averages a league-best 152.3 scrimmage yards per game. He has been even better in Atlanta’s three home games this year, scoring in all three while averaging 181 total yards.

While Miami is better against the run than the pass, they certainly aren’t good. They rank 25th in defensive DVOA versus the run and 29th in yards per carry allowed to opposing running backs. The Dolphins allowed running back Quinshon Judkins to score three times in last week’s blowout loss in Cleveland. They also rank 29th in the league in DVOA versus running backs in the passing game. That is a considerable source of Robinson’s production, particularly at home. Robinson trails only Drake London on the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards.

As for the game itself, Miami is quickly circling the drain as one of the worst teams in the NFL. Rumors are swirling about the job security of both their head coach and quarterback. While Atlanta has lacked consistency this season, it should win this game going away. The Falcons should be able to lean on their defense and run game to defeat the Dolphins. That means a heavy dose of Robinson, so give me him to score and Atlanta to win.

Bet: Bijan Robinson Anytime Touchdown Scorer/Atlanta Falcons to Win (-143 at FanDuel Sportsbook/Caesars Sportsbook)

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles

The New York Giants have certainly been a plucky bunch in the brief Jaxson Dart/Cam Skattebo era. New York is 2-2 since naming Dart the starting quarterback. They have defeated the Los Angeles Chargers and this week’s opponent, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants also should have scored an upset victory in Denver last week before a late collapse. Even though they beat Philadelphia just two weeks ago, I expect the Eagles to be up to the task in the rematch. New York may be missing top EDGE rusher Brian Burns, as well as starting cornerback Paulson Adebo. While these injuries should enhance New York’s passing attack, I am looking at Saquon Barkley as my favorite player to score on Sunday.

It is pretty jarring to see Barkley’s and Philadelphia’s rushing numbers in comparison to their historic 2024 campaign. Barkley has just 369 rushing yards and four total touchdowns through seven games. He cleared both of those totals in four September games last year on his way to a 2,000-yard rushing season. Barkley is not getting much help from his offensive line. Philadelphia ranks last in the NFL in adjusted line yards per rush this year. But New York’s run defense is one of the league’s weaker units. They rank 31st in several key metrics, including DVOA against the run and yards per carry allowed to opposing running backs.

The Eagles fell behind early in their last meeting versus the Giants, which led to reduced volume for Barkley. But he still ran for 58 yards on just 12 carries. With Philadelphia heading into a bye after this game, I expect a heavy dose of Barkley early and often. It would not surprise me at all to see him exceed 20 touches in this outing. We would not have been able to sniff this price last year, given his expected workload. The Eagles are still the superior team and have an advantage in the run game despite their lackluster results so far. Toss in the Barkley revenge narrative, and I will happily play this same-game parlay (SGP) at anything close to even money.

Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers have exceeded expectations so far this year. They have won three in a row and enter this week a perfect 3-0 at home. However, they are moving up in weight class when they face the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo is coming off two straight losses leading into last week’s bye. I expect them to come out swinging, and I do not believe Carolina is adequately equipped to counter. Though Andy Dalton is a serviceable backup quarterback, he and the Panthers will fall short against MVP Josh Allen and the Bills on Sunday.

There are more than a few anytime touchdown scorer candidates on the Bills. They have already had nine different players score offensive touchdowns in just six games. For reference, the Tennessee Titans have scored six offensive touchdowns as a team in seven games. Carolina’s run defense has improved significantly compared to recent seasons. The Panthers rank third in the NFL in defensive DVOA against the run. However, they place just 23rd versus the pass. Allen has thrown multiple touchdown passes in five out of six games. There is a high likelihood he does so again in this contest.

While Carolina is 23rd in total defensive DVOA against the pass, they are at or above league average against most pass-catchers. They rank 17th against opposing teams’ top receivers, third versus No. 2 WRs and 12th versus No. 3 WRs. The Panthers also rank third in the NFL in passing DVOA versus running backs. Buffalo’s wide receiver corps is quite ambiguous. Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir and Joshua Palmer all average between 39 and 45 receiving yards per game. But there is one matchup where Buffalo should have a glaring edge. Carolina ranks dead last in the league (and by a fair margin at that) in DVOA versus opposing tight ends. If you remove their game last week versus an inept New York Jets offense, the Panthers have ceded a score to a tight end in three straight games. Enter Dalton Kincaid.

Despite missing a game, Kincaid leads all Bills players in both receiving yards and receiving touchdowns this season. He has caught 20 out of 24 targets, while Carolina allows tight ends to grab 80% of their targets. Four of the 10 receiving touchdowns the Panthers have given up have come via the tight end. Kincaid is still recovering from an oblique injury that kept him out of Buffalo’s last game. However, he practiced in a limited capacity before that game and has had an extra week to recover following last week’s bye. I expect him to play without restrictions on Sunday, and believe he will find the end zone in a Bills victory. Besides, Sunday is National Tight Ends Day. BetRivers/Bally’s has the best price on this SGP, with FanDuel Sportsbook offering the best odds among the primary sportsbooks.
