NFL Week 8 Player Prop Bet Picks & Predictions: Sunday Night Football (Packers vs. Bills)

The Green Bay Packers are heading to Buffalo, looking to take down the Bills. The Packers hope to right the ship, holding a losing record through seven games. On the other side, the Super Bowl favorite Bills look to continue their domination as 10-point favorites. Here are my favorite player prop bets for Sunday night’s game.

Josh Allen Over 39.5 Rushing Yards (-110 FanDuel)

Since entering the league, Josh Allen has been an underrated beast on the ground. Allen is averaging 44.3 rushing yards per game in his last two seasons. Furthermore, Allen has exceeded 39.5 rushing yards in four of his six games (66.7%) this season. Additionally, the Packers have allowed 139.6 rushing yards per game which is 27th in the NFL. If the Packers successfully limit the production out of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, I would not be surprised if Allen takes over the game with his legs. Allen could easily see ten carries on Sunday night, which should conservatively get him to the 40 yards mark. I will be backing the over on Josh Allen’s rushing prop in what should be a dominant Bills win.

Aaron Rodgers Under 245.5 Passing Yards (-115 Caesars)

Reigning back-to-back MVP, Aaron Rodgers, has not been himself to start the season. This season, Rodgers is posting his lowest passing yards per game of his entire career as a starter, with 228.1. Rodgers has exceeded 245.5 passing yards in just three games so far this season. To make matters worse, the Bills’ defense has been playing at an elite level this season. Against the pass, Buffalo ranks 11th in the NFL, allowing just 205.3 yards per game. I’ll be backing the under on Rodgers’ passing yards.

Stefon Diggs 100+ Receiving Yards (+178 FanDuel)

Stefon Diggs has been an animal this season, averaging 109.3 receiving yards per game. Diggs has managed to total triple-digit receiving yards in four of his six games (66.7%) so far this season. Sunday night should be another prime opportunity for Diggs to record another 100 spot. One point of concern is that the Packers have allowed the 5th least amount of receiving yards per game to the wide receiver position. While keeping this in mind, I feel that +178 odds are too good to pass up. Josh Allen and Diggs’s chemistry should shine despite facing a good pass defense. I will be betting Stefon Diggs’ over on receiving yards at an alternate line of 100+.
