As for the weather forecast, it looks like another pretty amazing week as far as October is concerned. There is only one trouble spot in Week 8, and the rest of the country should experience Chamber of Commerce days.

NFL Week 8 Weather Report: Advice & Predictions

All forecasts courtesy of AccuWeather.com | Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook

Tennessee Titans at Detroit Lions (-11.5) | Total 45

Forecast: Indoors

Wind speed: This game is played in a dome

The Lions are the largest favorite of the season. The Titans head to the Motor City for their first game without WR DeAndre Hopkins, as the veteran was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Baltimore Ravens (-8.5) at Cleveland Browns | Total 44.5

Forecast: 55 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 6-8 MPH

The Ravens hit the road for the shores of Lake Erie, as QB Lamar Jackson, RB Derrick Henry and the high-octane offense look to stay hot. Browns QB Jameis Winston takes over at quarterback for the injured QB Deshaun Watson.

Green Bay Packers (-4) at Jacksonville Jaguars | Total 49

Forecast: 82 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 5-8 MPH

The Packers bring a strong pass attack to Duval, looking to take advantage of a leaky Jaguars pass defense. We’ll have a fast track, with absolutely no chance of precipitation and little chance of wind.

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (-5) | Total 45.5

Forecast: 84 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 4-7 MPH

At NRG Stadium, the roof could potentially be open. It will be a warm, sunny day with no chance of precipitation and just a slight breeze. We could get plenty of aerials, whether the roof is open or closed.

Arizona Cardinals at Miami Dolphins (-4) | Total 46

Forecast: 82 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 12-14 MPH

The Cardinals head to South Florida to face the Dolphins, who might have QB Tua Tagovailoa back from the reserve/injured list. That would change the offense dramatically. The good news is that there will be no precipitation, but Hard Rock Stadium will be among the windiest of venues in the NFL.

Atlanta Falcons (-2.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Total 46

Forecast: 82 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 6-8 MPH

These teams just met under the roof at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for a shootout three weeks ago. Now, they meet in Central Florida, and things have changed dramatically. The Bucs will be without top WR Mike Evans for at least the next three games, while WR Chris Godwin is now down for the season.

New York Jets (-7) at New England Patriots | Total 41

Forecast: 53 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 9-11 MPH

The Jets head to Foxboro to battle the Patriots in an AFC East showdown. QB Aaron Rodgers and WR Davante Adams look to continue to jell, while rookie QB Drake Maye looks for his first NFL victory. At least it will be dry.

Philadelphia Eagles at Cincinnati Bengals (-3) | Total 48

Forecast: 57 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 5-7 MPH

The Eagles and the Bengals head to the Queen City for an NFC vs. AFC showdown. The Bengals have averaged 28.0 points per game (PPG) in three games against NFC teams this season while allowing 23.0 PPG. We could get another high-scoring game with dry conditions and little wind to speak of.

Buffalo Bills (-3) at Seattle Seahawks | Total 46.5

Forecast: 56 degrees, 60% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 14-16 MPH

The Bills head to the Pacific Northwest to meet the Seahawks, and the conditions will be rather gloomy. The temperatures won’t get out of the mid-50s with a good chance of showers for a majority of the game. In addition, this will be the windiest venue in the NFL, with gusts up to 20 miles per hour (MPH) at times. The passing game, and the kicking game, could potentially be impacted. Be careful.

New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Chargers (-7) | Total 41

Forecast: Indoors

Wind speed: This game is played in a dome

The beleaguered Saints head to SoFi Stadium to tangle with the Bolts. The Saints are in a bad way with injuries, as QB Derek Carr remains sidelined and WR Rashid Shaheed is done for the season. The Chargers got well last week, and they’re looking to go back above .500 for the first time since opening 2-0.

Chicago Bears (-3) at Washington Commanders | Total 43.5

Forecast: 59 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 2-4 MPH

The Bears head to the nation’s capital to face the Commanders. It will be rather cool, with no chance of precipitation and minimal wind. It will be a potentially great rookie showdown between QB Caleb Williams and QB Jayden Daniels - the past two Heisman Trophy winners. (Monitor injury reports as Marcus Mariota might start in place of Daniels.)

Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5) at Las Vegas Raiders | Total 41.5

Forecast: Indoors

Wind speed: This game is played in a dome

The undefeated Chiefs head to Vegas with new WR DeAndre Hopkins. The Raiders aren’t likely to offer much resistance, and the books have them installed as the largest home underdog of the season.

Carolina Panthers at Denver Broncos (-10) | Total 41.5

Forecast: 73 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 4-6 MPH

The Panthers turn back to QB Bryce Young for this battle in the Mile High City. The weather will be nice, at least, although the Carolina offense is likely to struggle. Too bad this game isn’t on Wednesday, as snow is expected in Denver, as the weather dramatically changes mid-week.

Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers (-4.5) | Total 47

Forecast: 71 degrees, 10% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 11-13 MPH

These two NFL rivals will do battle in the Bay Area, and there is a slight chance of precipitation. We should be just fine, though, but we will have some gusty winds, which could potentially impact the passing and kicking games.

New York Giants at Pittsburgh Steelers (-6) | Total 36.5

Forecast: 60 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 6-8 MPH

We’ll have partly cloudy conditions for this Monday Night battle. The weather will be a lot nicer than the game. We should get a lower-scoring game, but it has to do with the defenses and nothing to do with the weather.
