NFL Week 9 Early Odds & Predictions: Colts vs. Patriots
New England responded well last week against the Jets after losing on Monday night to the Bears. They forced three turnovers, which vaulted them into a tie for most turnovers this season. They also have 23 sacks on the season. The Colts have allowed 26 sacks this season, which is bottom five in the league. The Patriots could feast on Sam Ehlinger, who did not throw an interception last week but lost a fumble.
Stephon Gilmore, a former Patriot, is now on the Colts, and he could provide a little insight into their game plan this week. He is also dealing with a rib injury that caused him to miss practice Wednesday, so his status is up in the air. Jonathan Taylor also missed practice due to an ankle injury. He will be valuable against the Patriots, who allow 126 rushing yards per game.
