NFL Week 9 Early Odds & Predictions: Ravens vs. Saints

Andy Dalton started over Jameis Winston last week, despite Winston suiting up for the game. Head coach Dennis Allen cited it was a performance decision rather than a health decision. The Saints have been battling injuries all season. Jarvis Landry has missed four straight games, and Michael Thomas has missed five. Their best cornerback, Marshon Lattimore, has not played since week five. Despite injuries, they have produced well on offense.

On the other side, Mark Andrews left last week’s game with a shoulder injury and did not return. He now has two injuries to monitor this week in practice. The Saints allow teams to score 25 points per game, and the Ravens allow 22.9. Both teams rank in the top 10 in third down conversion percentage and allow less than 35% third down conversions to opposing teams. Whichever side wins the third down battle likely wins the game.

Saints +2.5, o48
