Edmonton Oilers (-132) vs. Seattle Kraken (+110) | O/U 6.5 (-134/+110)

The Oilers are coming with the top-scoring offense and have scored 14 goals in their last three games. Edmonton moved to third place in the Pacific over the Kraken by one point.

We can’t talk about the Oilers without mentioning Connor McDavid. It’s rare not only to have a game where he doesn’t have a point, but you feel disappointed when he doesn’t have multiple, as he’s averaging 1.89 points per game.

The Kraken snapped their three-gaming losing streak with a 2-1 win over the Sharks. Seattle’s success comes from their offense and an excellent blue line, but the goaltending has struggled. Martin Jones and Phillip Grubaer have each received significant playing time, but neither has been able to play consistently well.

Each game has been lopsided, but one thing they’ve had in common is a high score. Each team knows they’ll have to rely on their offense to win. Neither side has exceptional goaltending, so take the over.

Pick: Over 6.5

New Jersey Devils (-105) vs. Florida Panthers (-114) | O/U 6.5 (-140/+114)

The Devils got a much-needed win over the Hurricanes in a tight race in the Metro, but they just dropped back-to-back games at home against the Lightning. The top line has been incredible. Nico Hischier, Tomas Tatar and Dawson Mercer collectively having 15 goals and 33 points in their last ten games.

The Florida offense came through in their last game by putting up nine goals in the matchup against Montreal, including seven in the first period. A big factor will be which Sergei Bobrovsky show up.

Bobrovsky has been inconsistent recently. He gave up a combined five goals against Tampa Bay, Nashville, Pittsburgh and Vegas, but then 12 against Chicago, Winnipeg and Montreal more recently.

The atmosphere does not matter for the Devils. They’ll respond. They have the most road wins in the league.

Bobrovsky has reverted back to struggles from earlier in the season. The Panthers have been able to bail him out with the offense at times, but the Devils bring a better lineup.

Pick: Devils ML

New York Islanders (-172) vs. San Jose Sharks (+142) | O/U 5.5 (-134/+110)

Those Panthers’ points are important because the Islanders are not far above them in the Wild Card. After two terrible losses by a combined 10-3 spread, the Isles rebounded with a much-needed win against the below-average Ducks.

No way to sugarcoat this, the Sharks have plummeted. They’re coming in losing 13 of their last 15 and are the first team to be officially eliminated from playoff contention. After a rough beginning to the California road trip, New York should end it on a great note.

Pick: Islanders -1.5
