Winnipeg Jets vs. Nashville Predators

The Predators secured a 5-3 win over the Kings on Saturday evening, and they’ll take on a Predators team that’s won two straight games. This Central Division clash gets underway at 8:00 p.m. ET from Bridgestone Arena.

Both of these sides have been very reliant on their defense and goaltending this year; however, the Jets have been just a smidge better on the stat sheet. That’s ultimately why I’ll lock in Winnipeg as short favorites on the road tonight. Connor Hellebuyck will likely get the nod for the Jets, and he’s been a force this year. The netminder is 23-12-1 with a 2.39 GAA and .924 SV%.

The team comes into tonight’s tilt ranked second in both goals allowed per game (2.44 GAA) and on the penalty kill (83.82%). They’ll be tasked with slowing down the 26th-ranked offense, the Nashville Predators (2.8 GPG). Look for the Jets to make life hard for the Predators’ forwards and come away with a low-scoring victory.

Bet: Winnipeg Jets Moneyline (-120 via DraftKings)

Anaheim Ducks vs. Arizona Coyotes

There aren’t many situations where the Coyotes should be favored against anyone in the National Hockey League. However, we run into one of those scenarios tonight as Arizona gets set to host the Anaheim Ducks. Puck drop is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. ET from Mullet Arena.

Despite all of the struggles for the Coyotes this year, they are still .500 when playing on their home ice. Arizona enters tonight’s game at 9-7-2 at the Mullet, which includes an impressive 4-1 win over the Golden Knights on Sunday night. Karel Vejmelka has been a serviceable option for the Yotes at home this year, going 7-4-2 with a 3.03 GAA and .913 SV%. He’ll likely get the start in net tonight against a Ducks team that’s dead last offensively (2.3 GPG).

Let’s ride with the Coyotes in the desert tonight against the lowly Ducks.

Bet: Arizona Coyotes Moneyline (-135 via DraftKings)

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Vancouver Canucks

The night wraps up with a Western Conference showdown between the Blackhawks and the Canucks. This one is set for 10:00 p.m. ET from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.

While the Canucks have not been sharp lately, tonight’s matchup with the Blackhawks offers an excellent opportunity to get back in the win column. Vancouver brings in the 11th-ranked offense in terms of goals scored (3.3 GPG) and sits at 14th on the power play (23.57%). Their high-scoring offense should present some issues for a Hawks team that’s 27th in goals allowed (3.40 GAA) and 24th on the PK (74.81%).

This game presents a mismatch in favor of Vancouver. Let’s lock in the Canucks on the puck line against a Chicago side that’s just 5-11-2 on the road this year.

Bet: Vancouver Canucks -1.5 (+105 via DraftKings)
