Saturday’s NHL Best Bets: Rangers vs. Bruins

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

New York Rangers (-118) at Boston Bruins (-102)  | O/U 5.5 (-135/+114)

The Rangers are already making noise before the trade deadline. They went out and made a big trade for Canucks star J.T. Miller. He's a much better player than in his first stint in New York. He had a great 2023-24 season with the Canucks and is coming off his first 100-point season. He will be a big help for the team that has been inconsistent this season and has a lot of ground to make up after their 4-15-0 run.

This new Rangers lineup might get off to a good start with how the Bruins have struggled. This has been a top-five defense in recent years and a big reason they set a record 135 points (2022-2023), but it's not been the same this season. They are 25th in goals allowed per game and Jeremy Swayman has had trouble adjusting to being the primary goalie, being only seven appearances away from tying his career high for a season. It is his first year where he's allowing over three goals per game and has under a .900 save percentage. Let’s back the Rangers.

Pick: Rangers Moneyline (-118)
