NHL Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Projections: Friday (3/15)
For the entire 2023-2024 season, we will provide our Best NHL Player Props from the NHL slate each day. Best NHL Plus Money Player Prop Bets
As time expired last night, Kirill Kaprizov sent the puck from one end of the ice toward the empty net, and for about 0.8 seconds, I thought he might have just scored his second goal. Alas, he did not. We still came out +1.69 units ahead yesterday, and we have 10+ more units than we did on Monday morning. Not a bad work week.
Tonight, however, we have only two contests to pick from before tomorrow’s 14-game monster. Both matchups are extremely lopsided on paper, but there are stars worth wagering on for all teams-except the Ducks. Here’s how I see it.

Josh Morrissey who?
Josh Morrissey will have two points tonight, but in the spirit of variety, I’m not picking him for play of the day.
Instead, we’re going with the presumptive Calder Trophy award winner, Connor Bedard. The 18-year-old has come as advertised this year, minus the time he missed for a jaw injury, and he is making up for lost time, scoring 10 points in the last five games. He and the Blackhawks take on the Kings, a team that has stumbled a bit of late. They seem to play up for good opponents and go lax against lesser teams. And Chicago is definitely a lesser team, but they are on home ice, where they score almost an entire goal more than on the road.
Bedard has 51 points in 52 games and is consistent no matter where he’s playing, though he tends to score more goals on the road and have more assists at home. Either way, the streak he is on is worth a play today at +280.
But seriously. Josh Morrissey is scoring two points tonight.
