NHL Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Projections: Tuesday (2/27)
Each day for the entire 2023-2024 season, we will be providing our favorite player prop bets from the NHL slate. Best NHL Plus Money Player Prop Bets
POTD: Luke Hughes 2+ Points (+560 FanDuel)
This is what’s known as “pushing our luck,” as it is definitely not a “safe” play of the day. The Devils are the latest to get the Sharks, and Hughes is the lead defenseman for New Jersey. As we’ve established, San Jose is heads and shoulders above everyone else in being the worst against that position, though Chicago is making a run for the title. Hughes has 15 points in 27 road games this season and plays on the top power play line against a team that loves to give up power play opportunities. When he’s on the ice with his brother, Jack, good things tend to happen.
I am playing the odds that he’ll pick up a couple of points. I also might sprinkle something on his anytime goal at +600.
