NHL Playoffs In-Game Prop Bets Odds & Picks for Friday, May 27 (2022)

We have an exciting Game 6 in St. Louis as the Blues will try once again to stave off elimination. Game 5 was the most drama-filled matchup so far as the Blues came back from a 3-0 deficit on the road to lose it and tie the game again, all within under two minutes. Some of these great in-game plays will make this game even more exciting.

Colorado Avalanche 60 Minute Total Goals O/U 3.5

Despite the loss, you have to have a ton of confidence in the Avalanche’s offense going into this game. Blues’ goalkeeper Vile Husso came away with the win, but he struggled again with allowing four more goals, which is now 13 in this series, a .860 save percentage, and his -5.14 goals save above expected, the worst of any goalie that’s been behind the net in these playoffs. What should scare the Blues is now they’ve awoken the beast that is Nathan MacKinnon. After being shut out of the net in the first four games, the hats flew in the Ball Arena as the long-time captain rang up three goals, including an at-the-time game-leading goal late in the third period. Even on the road, they should continue to bring offensive firepower.

Pick: Over 3.5 (-110)

Goal in the First Ten Minutes

This prop has hit in each game of this series. Both offenses are playing well, and while we know Husso is struggling, Darcy Kempler is not exactly giving Colorado confidence he can hold down the net. He has a .883 save percentage in this series and is just above Husso for the second-worst goals above expected (-3.69) in the playoffs. If you want the easy money, go for the first ten minutes and check out a goal scored in the first five minutes. That has hit twice in this series.

Pick: Yes (-174)

First Period Result

Colorado had the third-most leads after the first period during the regular season and three more in the playoffs. The Avs’ first line came alive in Game 5 with MacKinnon’s hat trick and Gabriel Landeskog adding a goal. They’ve been able to score on every line, which will help them get a lead quickly in this game.

Pick: Avalanche first period lead (+138)
