Today’s Best NHL Same Game Parlay Bets

Check out my top three NHL Same Game Parlays for Thursday.

New Jersey Devils vs. Nashville Predators

    • Leg 1: Devils -1.5 (+185)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-150)
    • Leg 3: Jack Hughes Anytime Goal (+110)

The Devils have regained their dominance from earlier in the year, winning seven of their last eight.
The offense possesses a ton of firepower, with three players averaging over a point a game. They are one of the better units with puck movement, creating a ton of opportunities, and are third in high-danger shots.

In the net, Vita Vaneck has been impeccable, as are his Goals Saved Above Expected.

The Predators are not an offensive-minded team. Filip Forsberg is best their best forward, but he doesn’t crack the top 40 in goals scored, and the team is 22nd in Expected Goals.

Juuse Saros keeps this team in games every time he’s in the crease. The goalkeeper has been incredible with how many shots the team gives up per game, and that’s why he’s third in Goals Saved Above Expected.

Saros will play on one day’s rest, but with the Preds highly outmatched, it will be all Devils.

Philadelphia Flyers vs. Minnesota Wild

    • Leg 1: Wild -1.5 (+100)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-135)
    • Leg 3: UNDER 1.5 First Period Goals (+120)

The Wild are slumping slightly as they’ve dropped three straight and six of their last nine.

The switching of goaltenders every other game had been successful up until recently. Giving the aging Marc-Andre Fleury rest for Filip Gustavsson, who only played 27 games in his first seasons in Ottawa, is the smart move they should ride. Gustavsson is making a case as the goalie for the future with a fifth-best 2.27 goals allowed.

They need the defense to regain momentum with an offense that sits in the middle in goals scored.

The Flyers aren’t very good overall, but there are some things to celebrate. Travis Konecny is having his best season, as he’s tied his career-high of 24 goals and is just three from his best points mark 0f 49. Then, of course, you have Carter Hart. He’s turned it around after a couple of down seasons and has 9.7 Goals Saved Above Expected.

Neither offense will push the score up with two exceptional goaltenders, but Minnesota should edge out a win.

Boston Bruins vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

    • Leg 1: Bruins ML (+100)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-130)
    • Leg 3: Brad Marchand Anytime Goal (+175)

This will undoubtedly be the game of the night with two teams that could meet in the playoffs.

The Bruins continue to dominate with the league’s best record, offense, and defense. They could set another milestone soon —they need to win two of their next five games to tie the 2015-16 Capitals for the fastest to 40 wins.

David Pastrnak has been great, as he’s third with 69 points, and Brad Marchand is averaging over a point a game. This team possesses some of the best puck movement in the league and has five players with over 20 assists.

Then you have Linus Ullmark, who, at -150 odds, should dust off a spot for the Vezina Trophy. No one is ever near his stratosphere behind the net this year, with his 4.55 Wins Above Replacement.

As great as Boston is, they still need to dethrone Tampa Bay, who’s made it to three straight Stanley Cup Finals.

The team is a model of consistency, as they once again have one of the better rosters in the league.

At the top of the line, Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos have 51 goals between them, and Nikita Kucherov leads the league with 49 assists. Each line works so well together and can move the puck, that’s why they have seven players with 20 or more assists.

Then they still have Andrei Vasilevskiy behind the net. At 2.54 goals allowed, that’s his worse mark in the last four seasons, and it shows just how much of an exceptional talent he is.

The last matchup was exciting, with no one having more than a one-goal advantage till the final 41 seconds of the game, except for that same kind of excitement.
