Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Nashville Predators

    • Leg 1: Penguins ML (-135)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-120)
    • Leg 3: Evgeni Malkin Anytime Goal (+170)

Every game down the stretch is crucial for the Penguins. They’re clinging to the last playoff spot with five teams within four points of them.

The offense has seen some of their best players recently go quiet. Jake Guentzel has just two points in his last five games, the same as Rickard Rakell. Thankfully the long-time reliables are still excelling, including Evgeni Malkin, who has four goals and four assists in the previous five games.

The Predators had a busy few days as they began to unload some assets. They sent Nino Niederreiter to the Jets and their breakout young star from last season, Tanner Jeannot, to the Lightning for a hefty return of picks.

The offense has been abysmal all season, with defenseman Roman Josi leading the team in points and no one having 20 goals.

It will be up to Juuse Saros to play flawlessly in the crease because he will not get much offensive support.

Even with the top lines of Pittsburgh not playing their best, it will be enough to grab a win.

Parlay Odds: +762

Seattle Kraken vs. St. Louis Blues

    • Leg 1: OVER 2.5 Total Kraken Goals (-220)
    • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (+105)
    • Leg 3: OVER 1.5 Total First Period Goals (+110)

It wasn’t long ago when we discussed Seattle being in line to make their first playoff appearance. It’s time to pump the breaks on that statement.

They have been dreadful the last few weeks, going 6-7-2 and moving down to the final Wild Card spot.

The defense has been a big reason for this rough patch because neither Phillip Grubauer nor Martin Jones hasn’t been reliable in the crease. The offense has also had some bad games, including being shut out twice recently.

The Blues have been dreadful throughout the season, so they’ve begun to trade away some players. There were high expectations for this team, who made it to the Western Conference Second Round last season but have played inconsistently throughout the year.

Specifically, on defense, Jordan Binnington not living up to that big contract he signed.

The defense has been the weakest point of these two teams, so look for each offense to be the driving force of this game.

Parlay Odds: +526

Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Buffalo Sabres

    • Leg 1: OVER 3.5 Total Sabres Goals (-145)
    • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-125)
    • Leg 3: Tage Thompson Anytime Goal (-120)

The Sabres are just a point behind the Penguins for the last Wild Card spot. The top-scoring offense took a hit when the second-leading scorer Alex Tuch was put on IR. Rookie Jack Quinn will likely move up to the top line with Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner. He’s been playing well recently, with two goals and two assists in his last four games.

The Blue Jackets were expected to compete this season, but it has not worked out that way. The notable pickup in the offseason, Johnny Gaudreau, leads the team with 54 points, but he will finish far below the 115 he had with Calgary last year. They also have notable rookies playing well this year, including Kirill Marchenko with 16 goals and Kent Johnson with 28 points.

Both teams have abysmal goaltending, and the last matchup had a combined 13 goals. We should see another high-scoring game.

Parlay Odds: +481
