Seattle Kraken vs. Winnipeg Jets

  • Leg 1: Jets 60 min ML (+110)
  • Leg 2: UNDER 6 Total Goals (-122)
  • Leg 3: UNDER 2.5 Total Kraken Goals (-152)

The Kraken have simmered since their eight-game winning streak.

The Kraken went through the gauntlet in the New York tri-state area and suffered multiple goal losses to the Rangers, Islanders, and Devils.

Overall Seattle has struggled by going 4-6-1 in their last 11. They’re a great offense at even strength, but the special teams continue to be a weak point. They rank 22nd in Power Play Percentage and 31st in Penalty Kills, including allowing five goals in their last nine PK chances.

The Jets are also not playing well at the moment. They are 5-5-0 in their last ten, but all five wins are against under .500 teams.

The offense has been average all season, but their identity comes through the defense. Specifically, Connor Hellebuyck, with 23.9 Goals Saved Above Expected and 3.99 Wins Above Replacement

Seattle is currently playing on fumes, and I don’t expect them to move the needle against Hellebuyck. The Jets are 19-8-0 at home and with the rest advantage, they will grab win No. 20.

Carolina Hurricanes vs. Washington Capitals

  • Leg 1: Hurricanes ML (-143)
  • Leg 2: UNDER 6 Total Goals (-103)
  • Leg 3: Alex Ovechkin Anytime Goal (+128)

The Hurricanes could not shake off the rust of an 11-day break and took a rare loss at home against the Rangers.

In that game, you could tell the layoff hurt their chemistry, and they continually gave the puck away. On a positive note, they were able to move into the Rangers’ zone against an excellent blue line and create shots

The storyline for Washington continues to be how much longer can they tread water till the team gets healthy?

Tom Wilson is still considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury, with Connor Brown, John Carlson, and Karl Hagelin not likely to return to the lineup anytime soon.

The Canes got a game in finally, and they should be ready going forward. The stats favor them on both sides of the puck, and they should come away with a win.

Parlay Odds: +664

Pittsburgh Penguins vs. San Jose Sharks

  • Leg 1: Sharks ML (+133)
  • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-109)
  • Leg 3: Timo Merier Anytime scorer (+125)

The Penguins will wrap up their three-game trip to the sunshine state in San Jose. They want nothing more than to put the last game behind him after suffering a 6-0 loss to the Kings.

That was the worst the offense had looked all season. They were slow and uncoordinated, but you could blame it on playing back-to-back games.

Casey DeSmith should start again with Tristan Jarry sidelined, and he hasn’t been that good going recently by going 3-2-1 and allowing 20 goals in his last six games, one of those being against the Sharks.

San Jose has been doing a lot of winning lately, with victories over the Penguins, Lightning, and Capitals.

They’ve been getting excellent contributions on offense with Timo Meier’s 30 goals, Erik Karlsson turning back the clock with 55 assists, and Logan Couture’s last game against Pittsburgh he had two goals and three assists.

With two outstanding forward units and below-average goaltending, I’m hanging my hat on the over.

Parlay Odds: +905
