Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Buffalo Sabres

    • Leg 1: Sabres ML (+130)
    • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-135)
    • Leg 3: OVER 3.5 Total Sabres Goals (+140)

The Maple Leafs have had a very easy stretch recently. Their last five games have been two against Chicago, a pair versus Columbus and one against Montreal. The offense had nearly four goals a game in that span, with Ilya Samsonov and Joseph Woll playing well in between the pipes.

Everyone will have to step their game up as they head into Buffalo. The Sabres possess one of the most dynamic lines in the league with Tage Thompson, Jeff Skinner, and Alex Tuch.

The depth of the forward unit makes the Sabres dangerous. On the second line, Dylan Cozens and Victor Olofsson have combined for nine goals in their last ten. On the third, Casey Mittelstadt and Peyton Krebs have six.

Toronto has played three games in four days, and going from playing bottom-four offenses to the third-best is a tough adjustment. Secondly, Buffalo’s recent history shows they’re up to the challenge by beating Toronto in three of their last five matchups.

Detroit Red Wings vs. Washington Capitals

    • Leg 1: Red Wings ML (+130)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-130)
    • Leg 3: UNDER 3.5 Total Capital Goals (-130)

Due to the teams they have to climb, I don’t have the Red Wings making the playoffs. They are doing their best to prove me wrong, winning seven of their last ten and getting to four points out of the final Wild Card Spot.

The overall offensive numbers aren’t great, but they’ve flipped a switch by scoring five or more goals in four of the last five games. Offensive leader Dylan Larkin has been playing out of his mind, with seven goals and eight assists in his previous ten.

On paper, the Capitals have the better roster, but not on the ice where it matters. Tom Wilson is back in the lineup, but they are still missing key contributors due to injury, and Alex Ovechkin is away from the team due to a personal issue.

Washington’s depleted offense looks lost, scoring just seven goals in their last four game. Detroit is playing better on offense, and Ville Husso is starting to play much better recently.

Parlay Odds: +620

St. Louis Blues vs. Carolina Hurricanes

    • Leg 1: Hurricanes-1.5 (-130)
    • Leg 2: OVER 1.5 Total First Period Goals (-150)
    • Leg 3: OVER 4.5 Total Hurricanes Goals (+145)

Carolina is the hottest team in the NHL at the moment. They’re on a run of 12-1-1 and are only behind Boston with the most points in the league.

They’ve had a couple of overtime wins, but most of their victories have been on the puckline, which is why they have the best-Expected Goal Differential.

Please let me know if anyone can figure out the St. Louis Blues. They can look great at times, including beating New Jersey and Florida, then look lost, like losing to Colorado and Ottawa a combined 11-3.

It will be a challenge to grab a win In Raleigh, even on St. Louis’ best day.

Parlay Odds: +622
