Today’s Best NHL Same Game Parlay Bets

Check out my top three NHL Same Game Parlays for Wednesday.

Carolina Hurricanes vs. Dallas Stars

  • Leg 1: Under 1.5 First Period Goals (+105)
  • Leg 2: OVER 5.5 Total Goals (-140)
  • Leg 3: Jason Robertson Anytime Goal (+130)

The Hurricanes are one of the best overall rosters in the league.

Their offense has been incredible, with the best Expected Goals Percentage, and the defense has continued to be one of the better units with the fewest Goals Expected Against.

This team has bounced back from dropping four straight last week to winning four of their previous five this week.

The Stars are another team having success on both sides of the puck this year.

Jason Robertson is having a fantastic season, as he’s fourth in points and third in goals. Then you add a great supporting cast, and you have the sixth-best Goals Percentage in the league.

They also have Jake Otteinger in the net, who’s fifth in the Vezina Trophy odds. He’s coming in today with the fifth-best Goals Saved Above Expected and top three in goals against, save percentage, and shutouts.

This will be a fun game with two incredibly talented teams. Look for a back-and-forth game that will come down to the wire.

New York Islanders vs. Ottawa Senators

  • Leg 1: Islander ML (+100)
  • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (+110)
  • Leg 3: OVER 2.5 Islanders Total Goals (-160)

The Islanders are coming very close to what would be a collapse. They’re coming in losers of five straight, and are 2-7-3 since the start of the new year.

The forward unit looked great to start the season but has fizzled of late, scoring just three or more goals in two of the 12 games, but now Ilya Sorokin has lost four straight and allowed 16 goals in that time.

Sorokin usually plays with at least one day of rest, but Lane Lambert might put Semyon Varlamov in the lineup.

The Senators overall have underachieved this season. There is some talent on the forward unit with Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stutzle, but this offense has stretches where they can’t score, and that’s why they’re 29th in Goals Percentage.

The biggest surprise comes from goaltending. Cam Talbot and Anton Forsberg are both playing well below their potential, but part of it stems from the bottom ten defense in Shots on Goal and High Danger Shots Allowed.

Even with both offenses not playing well, I like them better than their opponent’s defense. The Islanders are the superior lineup and will come away with a win.

New York Rangers vs. Toronto Maple Leafs

  • Leg 1: Maple Leafs ML (-150)
  • Leg 2: OVER 5.5 Total Goals (-135)
  • Leg 3: OVER 2.5 Maple Leaf Total First Period Goals (+260)

The Maple Leafs are trending in a great direction. This talented forward unit was not playing up to expectations earlier this year, but now the reigning Hart Trophy winner Auston Matthews has 53 points, but still isn’t better than William Nylander’s 56, and has transitioned that great season from last year.

The Rangers have also been incredible, and their talent on both sides will make them fun to watch in the playoffs.

Offensively, they have Mika Zibanejad possibly grabbing 40 goals this year, and Artemi Panarin is averaging over a point per game. Defensively they’re much stronger, allowing under 30 shots per game, and Igor Shesterkin has 14.4 Goals Saved Above Expected.

This is another game that will make for an exciting 60 minutes and will remain competitive.
